Yeah we're looking for those handful of guys. They're the best prospects in the world. One of two of them might be in Europe, the rest are coming out of the NCAA.

The critique of NCAA vs Euro wasn't a logical one. Rudy Fernandez is better than 99 % of ncaa players.

Yeah, what's the point? Nobody's claiming that the best players don't come from the NCAA. Most of them obviously do. The point is you can't criticise Doncic based on his level of competition unless you're going to do it even more for NCAA prospects. Doncic is doing it against better competition. Doesn't mean he'll be the best player.

Jinglin' Joe is a hardnosed defender which Luka isn't but another set of comparisons to throw on to the pile.
I'm not big on comparisons but the three players Luka reminds me the most of are a bigger D'Angelo Russell at Ohio State, a better passing, mid-career Paul Pierce, and Dejan Bodiroga especially with up & under moves and step throughs. Maybe Luka will add El Latigo to his game? I'm not saying his career arc will follow those guys at all (well he has kind of followed Bodiroga up till now but is actually going to the NBA), but they are who he visually reminds me of when I watch him play.

A 32 year old career d league player scored 19 points in the best league in the world in his very first game. 1 good game does not diminish a whole league.33 year old Rudy Fernandez who last played in the NBA in 6 years ago (career 9 PPG) has 25 points to only 3 points for Luka. How great is the Euro League when 33 year old Fernandez is dominating? Give me a break. That league is overrated. Real Madrid up 10 with 5:00 to go so looks like Luka with be in New York on draft day.....just in time for the Grizzlies take him.
I don't know who will be the best player from the draft, but I love this kid. He has such a passion for basketball. There are legitimate questions about his athleticism, defense, position etc but there's no question about his love for the game.
I'll be curious to see how he does in the NBA wherever he lands.

It's really funny how ppl know Euro talents suck and Euroleague sucks and yet they do not know difference between Euroleague and Spanish league. If somebody is so sure of something, I would think that they actually follow it and that is how they know it sucks.
Anyway, Donte Divincenzo scored 31 in NCAA final, does that mean NCAA sucks big time and no good players can come from it?

I've always felt Mike Schmitz has always been the brains behind Draft Express and Givony's pandering-to-whoever antics certainly aren't helping to change my opinion.
I do think the DX guys have real intel..however it wouldn't surprise me if it's opposing teams who are dropping the dirt on Sacramento. We're such a wildcard right now and while I love all the misdirection we're giving opposing teams, my heart can't take it anymore.
Givony has posted some BS lately that has me questioning his credibility. I don't doubt that he has real intel either but it almost seems as if he's working to put up a smokescreen for certain teams. Some of these rumors have me scratching my head as far as how little sense they make.
I've never paid attention to what Givony has to say. His website had a lot of information on it and I certainly appreciate the time and effort he puts in but his analysis has never been anything special and I don't think he has any more insight into team methodologies than local media. In fact, he's got a large enough profile at this point than I can see teams actively feeding him inaccurate information so he can do their smoke screening for them.
