It stormed here the last 2 days so that has cooled things off. The high all this week is only going to be in the high 80's. I was actually chilly earlier and I put all of my jackets/sweats etc. away.

And yeah, KF916- it's been RIDICULOUSLY hot. I have lived in Sac for most of my life and I can't remember it EVER being this hot this long or not cooling down at night...
Go to bed Loopy! Made me more tired just to see how late you're up. I'm about done. Have to do a cardio stress test in the AM....I'll be really up for that!
im awake, the upstairs wall in the bedroom was really hot so we called the fire department out, and it turned out to be because i just took a shower and we have a really big water heater that was turned up to the max
I finally saw a coyote tonight. I've heard them before and other people have seen them at work but tonight I had the pleasure He was more scared of me than I was of him. We have a lot of critters here, other than my co-workers
When I was growing up, we used to hear the coyotes up in the hills howling at night. There would be a chorus of them. It sounded neat. Sometimes in the early morning we would see them in the neighborhood streets!!!
hey hoopsy, I hear them all the time too but I've worked here 2 years and this was the first one I've seen. I heard as long as they're not in packs, they're fairly safe.
Good Morning, Loopy....the Garlic festival was a good time, as always....despite the heat the previous week. The food was GREAT!! (No I don't do the Garlic Ice Cream) The vampires won't come to our house for awhile!!!
