K Mart is flat out the man. He had some awesome highlight reel moves. It will be good when they can get Beno back out there to get him some help from the perimeter. Bo Jax did okay tonight. Had some nice assists to Kevin. Not to mention Salmons was finally knocking down a good percentage of his shots. He needs to be more consistant and get over taking stupid shots. I'm not sure that will ever happen though.

Just didn't have the firepower tonight.
No Beno and Garcia because of injury
No Hawes because of foul trouble
No Brad because of ????
We're going to have to get better defensively eventually. Hopefully Hawes and Thompson grow up real fast on that end.

I have no problem with losing now...as long as we play hard...we're damn young, and the kids have to learn to play in this league. I wonder what the heck Reggie's thinking about playing K9 so much? I mean, he said himself that he couldnt use him at all! What gives?

He actually didn't seem to bad to me (except the outlet passes that always get intercepted). he plays better than Williams whom I do not like.

OK OK OK.. I think Garcia, Beno, Thompson, and MAYBE Hawes might turn into something, but throw the rest away.. I swear Greene must have the pre-season record for airballs.

Ok did not see the game. WTF can someone tell me why Kenny Thomas got more playtime than Jason. Can someone explain the logic in that?

The logic is, it is pre-season. Theus was noted as saying he was going to mix it up a bit. Besides, KT was ALOT better than Hawes.

Watched the 3rd & 4th quarter.
I’m disappointed. I’m not disappointed because we lost. This was a game in which I would like to see more of the rookies in and less of the Mikki Moore’s and John Salmons at the end. I love how we’re trying to have the mentality that we shouldn’t lose no matter what type of game we’re playing (whether it’s pick-up, preseason, the real game, etc.), but this is the type of game that could help Jason Thompson or Donte. If we lose it doesn’t affect our win-loss. The last 5 minutes, we put in Mikki Moore and sub out Jason? I know Mikki is more experienced but seriously, are we in the finals? Do we really need to give Mikki the minutes and just let Jason watch/”learn”?
1. I really like to hear what the coach’s talk about in the next practice. Seriously, does anybody say anything to John about his constant dribble into nowhere? He’s really not the only player on the court.
2. Are we even playing the triangle?
3. Can we start to pass the ball just a little bit more? There were some nice passes in the game, but overall, I’d like to see some improvement. They really need to watch our old tapes and/or how the suns would run with the ball.
4. I love this team. I’ve been with them from the sucky years (the black whole), enjoyed and cherished the golden moments and now I’m being frustrated by some ridiculous stuff.
5. For those people who couldn’t wait to get the #1 pick, I think this is the year.

Kevin Martin alone will guarantee we won't get the top pick. Top 10, sure. Top pick though? Get real. You can't tell me we are worse than OKC, IND, MIN, or any of the other bottom dwellers.

Which is reasonably potent. Or might be. They're not going to stop anybody, ever (much like us), but the big post presence surrounded by shooters is always a dangerous structure.
