Nah, no need to poison a good relationship. Give Jake a few months in plastic city and he'll be thinking about the real ones in Sactown. We may just see him again, if the local jackwagon brigade doesn't boo him whenever he returns. And in the meantime, we got Nique!

Getting forwards in Free Agency is really hard. They are the most in demand position. We, not being a free agent destination, have to either draft one or trade for one. And trading small for big is really hard.
Not getting one for Hali or Fox. Not taking a swing on one in the Mitchell, Carter or Prosper draft is why in my opinion Monte was one of our worst GM’s of all time.
Jake was trading for a rental that no one else wanted to make to cover for all his other F-ups.

Can’t blame Jake, he hasn’t made much money in his career so every dollar counts for him. Appreciate his short stint here, hope he does well but loses every game for the Fakers!
