BTW, anyone know if the Kings would benefit from a loss? Because I would sure like to see the Lakers get dropped to the 8th seed...

Never and not even then. I won't mind the lin but I can't cross that line. I jaust have to have faith in Muss being capable to lose the game that he wants to win so bad

I have been struggling a bit with this as well. If we win, the Lakers end up in 8th, right? How bad does a win hurt us in the draft?

couple spots and Lakers will lose in the first round regardless. Only difference is that Mavs will sweap them and Suns may give them one game.

Kings Total wins currently - 33 (1 to go)

Charlotte Total Wins - 33 (1 to go)

New York - 32 (1 to go)

Philly - 34 (1 to go)

Those are the only catchable teams. So... A win kinda hurts...

Piksi:

I have really, really appreciated what you, Brick and VF21 have done for the place all season, and would miss you terribly around here if you bailed. I am hoping that we trade Artest to your second-favorite team, just to be on the safe side.

I only favor one team

I hope you guys can pick up the slack and keep our members who don't get the game on TV involved at least a little. I'm taking the night off... Way too many emotions about this game for me. The hope of a good draft pick vs. the total repugnance of even thinking about the Lakers winning AGAIN in Arco has given me a headache.

We will try but that will depend on how much and how well the kids are playing

Wolves found the way to lose at home against the Grizzlies. That is how You do it

You know, I'm trying, but I am still going to cheer for a win. After all, it's the Lakers. I gave up on a lot this season. I went from being optimistic, to realistic, to pessimistic. I gave up on hoping for a certain player to turn their life around one last time in Sac. I gave up the idea that we really were the best fans in the league. I gave up hope that our vets just started out bad, but would improve. I gave up hope that this new coach would do ok. The list goes on. So, for tonight, I am going to pretend that we are good again and that this game matters. I am going to hope that Bibby has one of his "Laker games" and that Brad will play like he did when Vlade was here. I am going to hope the Kevin has a great game that points to great things in the future for us. I hope that the kids all have good games.

TONIGHT, I AM GOING TO CHEER FOR MY KINGS TO BEAT THE LAKERS.
Sorry if this bothers any of you.

New York won... But unfortunately that means Charlotte lost... Meaning a win here puts us ahead of the Knicks and Hornets by one game...
