I don't mind us winning this game actually--our young players hopefully treat this game like a meaningful game and see how we stack against one of the top two teams in the league. I can actually see the Lakers, as they always seem to do against us, playing stupidly against us again and relinquishing leads, but whatever their problem is, it's our gain. Gives our young players valuable experience with great matchups like Kobe and Gasol, that's for sure.
As for the seedings, we're 1.5 games behind the Clippers, and we have the harder schedule--so if we win this game, what we need to do then is to lose to the Clippers to really seal the deal on the worst record in the Pacific, at the very least. As for Washington, which we're only 1 game behind of, I think they can actually okay schedule--they may actually win in Toronto (who they get to face twice), but they're selectively holding Arenas out of games, and knowing how bad their team is without him they may just lose all four. So really, besides the Lakers, and to play it on the safe side, we may have to lose the rest.
