I like Mark Jones and Doug Christie.
Draper seems to understand the game just fine. I get a little overwhelmed at times by words like "dis" and "fer de Kings." Sometimes Christie starts doing the same thing. It is too much to ask for announcers to speak standard English?

considering the multitude of accents and dialects set across no less than 4 different continents, what even is “standard English“?

to me, as a kid who grew up where I did, Kyle and DC’s English is far closer to ‘standard’ than fast-talking New Yorker Grant Napear’s was, for instance.

Kyle being absolutely delighted by Buddy missing an easy shot, somehow getting the ball back, and absolutely nailing a ridiculous shot (something that he seemingly does once or twice a month) is my new spirit animal.
