Knicks, Kings and Douby

In a brief article in a NY paper 3-4 days ago it was mentioned that Douby might be of potential interest to the Knicks for the PG backup. He is decent defender and used to shoot the lights out and is a NY local kid. Trouble is who do the Knicks have of equal value the Kings might want? Or would Kings be a filler in a 3 team trade of bigger players?

I think the Knicks, unless they must have him right now, can just wait until the season is over to acquire him.

I'd go for a Kenny Thomas/Douby swap of Malik Rose/Roberson.

The obvious offer from the Knicks is Douby for a 2nd. It's impossible a Kenny Thomas dump for Douby or the Knicks 1st for Douby, except more value -I mean more than the Rockets 1st- is added from the Kings.
