Looking for additional picks. Both 1st rounders or 2nd rounders. Got guys like Prince, Rip Hamilton, Maxielle, Ben Gordon, etc. on the trading block. Anyone interested, PM me.

Why?!? Vasquez is not NBA ready. SAS cannot waste picks. They need a PG and a C/PF. If SAS were really picking, they would have chosen Soloman Alabi. This pick is a joke.
agreed...horrible pick...2nd F I might have to hand out..lol

it might of made sense if he was the BPA or even the best prospect available..

JON E.....I will miss you man...and i will miss the rest of the forum...i will be taking a leave of absence. I know you all will undoubtedly be unable to cope with the loss. I wish to trade Memphis 25th pick to Jon E and the SPURS for a future 1st round pick(but he can't pick a garbage player). JE, plz pick Crawford or Bradley or Courtney Fortson. Sorry we couldn't catch that beer. ill hityou up when im back home. Peace & RIP-barberrye

Toronto would like to announce that in the interests of retaining Chris Bosh head coach Jay Triano has been beaten to death with a shoe.

Possible candidates to replace Triano include Chris Bosh's mom, Chris Bosh's best friend, Chris Bosh's cousin Elroy, Chris Bosh himself, and Aishwarya Rai.

For my own sake, here is the current Pistons roster:

Joakim Noah/Ben Wallace (FA)
Villanueva/Maxiell/Wilcox/Brown(FA)
Prince/Jerebko/James Johnson/Summers
Rip Hamilton/Ben Gordon
John Wall/Will Bynum (FA)/Atkins (FA)

So I could do with another SG, possibly a PG, and a back-up Center. I have too many PFs.

My starting 5 is significantly better than last years - Wall/Rip/Prince/Villanueva/Noah.

Its also rumored that Larry Brown is interested and will officially contact Toronto as soon as he's done putting in applications in Philly, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, New Jersey, UCLA, USC, and Sac St. because he loves a challenge.

The Detroit Pistons and Portland Blazers have come to an agreement:

The Pistons trade:
DaJuan Summers

The Blazers trade:
Draft Rights to Victor Claver

It is also worth noting that the Pistons 2nd round pick now belongs to them again.

Damnit, why didn't anyone PM me when my pick was up??

I perhaps should have stepped in to try to regulate this thing early, but technically it was not one of the offseason "Tropical Island" threads where the PM the next person rules are claearly established. Sorry.

Would be a good idea from here on out -- whoever makes a pick, please try to POM whoever is pikcing after you so that they have some warning.

The Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors have reached an agreement:

The Pistons have aquired Hassan Whiteside, Hedo Turkoglu and Marco Bellinelli in exchange for Tayshaun Prince and Chris Wilcox.

The Pistons have aquired the services of yet another talented, defensive big man with alot of potential, whilst also adding a young talented SG. They are delighted to have gotten the experience and saavy of veteran Hedo Turkoglu, a fan favourite who has finals experience and will help fill the void left by the departure of Prince. The subtraction of Wilcox also opens up more minutes for prospects like Whiteside and Jerebko.

The Raptors are ecstatic to have aquired a defensive wing with championship experience to put next to Bosh and Oden. The Raptors are clearly in win-now mode and have put an emphasis on stifling defense. The addition of Wilcox also provides depth on a team that will need it if they are to venture deeply into the playoffs.

Alternately you could call it do-whatever-is-necessary-to-get-Bosh-back mode. :p But getting back ending/short term contracts that makes a rebuild easy in case Bosh leaves is handy too.

I do apologize for beating Triano to death with a shoe while we were negotiating -- I know I had offered to throw him into the deal.

So new new Toronto roster update:

C- Greg Oden (ender)
C/PF - Chris Wilcox (ender)
PF- Chris Bosh (maybe)
PF- Reggie Evans (ender)
SF- Tayshaun Prince (ender)
SG- Demar DeRozan
SG- Sonny Weems (will pick up that team option)
PG- Jose Calderon
PG- Jarret Jack
PG- Marcus Banks (ender)

san antonio is gonna have to start thinking about replacing the big 3. so far they have hill taking over for parker (although parker still has many years left in him), blair for duncan (although blair is more of a center than power forward), and that leaves manu. vasquez's game might be able to develop into a mirror of manu, plus hed have a strong latino base following him
