Honestly, the Wizards should have a few more points based out how atrocious our defense has been. They are shooting almost 60% for the half. Should be higher.

It doesnt really have anything to do with small ball here. Not closing out and putting a body on someone in transition should be easier in "small ball". They just arnt playing defense.

End of 1st and 2nd quarter, Reke made a poor pass to a big man near the 3 point with not enough time left on the clock for them to get a shot off. Except for that, he played a near flawless first half.

Our offense is fine. It's mostly the guards and Cousins. PF not involved much anyway. So why the hell run JJ and Hayes out there together for so long? If they're not helping offensively, then get someone in there who won't kill us defensively and on the glass. More JT. More Cousins. Even play Donte at the 4.

I don't think its the small ball ... We are just putting 0 effort into that side of the ball. None. Why run over to your man when you could just leave them wide open? Gotta save that energy for offense. It feels like that is our entire teams mindset tonight.

I still think we'll win, because I think we are the better team and have been playing well .. but unless we play much better on defense I won't be satisfied.

This happens a lot and I don't mean just with Tyreke. I remember many times when there are 4 seconds left on the clock and the guy passes the ball to someone else. Maybe just to keep the shooting percentage up but it really isn't very bright.

Not sure if that truly qualifies as smallball, just because everybody is theoretically at a natural positon (Jimmer PG, Cisco SF, JJ PF, Hayes C) but every one of them but Hickson is small and unathletic for the position, and more importantly, they suck.

Sure, if you count layups on transition runs as getting killed on the inside then it happened. As far as rebounding they are shooting nearly 60 percent with 5 offensive boards so that isn't the issue.
