[Game] Kings @ Warriors (3/24/12)

T-Will could very well last longer than 10 days. He doesn't seem to have the same allergic reaction to playing defense some of the regulars seem to have. Was quite interesting to see coach throw him in there in the 4th quarter of a tight game.

Why can't the closer be your best player or is there some Smartian rule that it has to be a guard? IT looks for his own shot and he always has. And why try out a new guy? It's like handing the game away.

Not sure myself. I always want them to feed it down low to Cousins. He is so good at following up his missed shots with tip-ins or getting a foul call it makes me feel more confident.

If that was the case, why not MT, Reke, Cuz, or even Salmons? I know IT had some clutch plays in college but those guys have been clutch in the NBA

Maybe we should extend his extension.

Oh, and I was very impressed with TWill. He made our best athletes look unathletic if you know what I mean. :) He really is quite amazing. I don't know what the problems are that he has but defense is not one of them and we need guys who play like him. We now have two defense oriented guys in Hayes and TWill if he gets a contract. All we need is a 7 footer or maybe simply Hassan grows up. I would give TWill and Hassan a lot more time to make some use out of this useless season.

Smart looking for a closer, and not making an effort to get the ball to Cuz/Reke/MT is inexcusable. He's now done this on multiple occasions and then comes out and says he doesn't have a closer. Uh, way to keep throwing your top 3 players under the bus. Glad I didn't waste money going to this game. Not rich enough to waste money watching an amateur coach using a little league "everyone must play" attitude at the end of close games.

I'm thinking there could be a Encyclopedia's worth of "Smartian Rules."

Anyone know if it was McGuire or Lee on Thomas for that last play? I am sitting a bit far from my TV so am not 100% sure. Just saw a big guy, guarding Thomas which is why I had no problem with him breaking him down to score once the mismatch was established. Wouldn't have bothered me if he tossed it down low to Cousins though. Either play works for me.

It was a good game, close to the end and exciting. The Kings didn't close it out unfortunately. I don't see how it would have been a waste to go see the game. Breath, my fellow Kings fan.

Looks like our young coach is making as many mistake as our young players.

Please stop the stupid small ball it is not that hard, bench one of the guards, start Haye, Whiteside as backup(he looks good tonight) and start Greene(he is a 3 not a 4) or Salmon.
DMC/Haye/Greene/guard/guard with guard, whiteside, Salmon as backup + TW and JF for spot min.
How hard is it?

It's more how we go about losing, not actually losing. I would have been pulling my hair out at the coaching decisions. Costs a decent amount more for a good seat at Oracle as well given the poor sight lines, unlike Arco where sight lines are much better. Also in the middle of switching careers and have a tight budget.

In comparison, I would have been more than happy to shell out money for the loss to Utah. I have no problem losing a game like that.

SMH we need a real coach man.
