Tyreke Evans hasn't committed to signing an offer sheet with the New Orleans Pelicans. That decision could come in the next 24 hours.
Evans has a four-year, $44 million offer from New Orleans.
Sources familiar with negotiations said Evans could verbally accept the deal as early as tomorrow if he doesn't receive an offer from the Kings that tops the New Orleans offer.
An annual average salary of $12 million would be needed for Evans to reconsider accepting the Pelicans' offer.
Sources said the Kings expected any offer for Evans would be in the range of $9 million annually.
Because Evans is a restricted free agent, the Kings would have three days to match the offer once signed on July 10 when the moratorium on deals is over for the NBA.
It's still uncertain if the Kings would match the offer.
