Shump is the designated vet who bites the bullet and takes shots when the kings possessions go to crap, in the 1st q there was a sequence where Marvin totally left him out for dead after a failed post attempt and threw him the ball with 4 seconds on the clock, which resulted in a very low% heave.. Shump's actually played quite well and was key in keeping this in distance early while the rest of the offense was sputtering.

Very winnable game. Butler came not to play. Towns ist carrying them. Kings been outscoring them ever since that bad start.


Adjustments at the half - Defense:
They can't shoot. Pack the paint and make them shoot. They are 3-10 from the arc. Not sure why Kings are treating non-shooters like Steph and Klay. Abysmal sequence when Belly fouled Gibson in the post denying, resulting in free throws. Let him have that!
Oh, and rebound the ******* ball

Offense:
1-5 high pick and roll. Everytime. They can't guard that. Tire Towns out.

I’ve been impressed with Fox’s defense. I liked his first half. 7 assists and stingy D on Rose. Not forcing up too many shots but establishing that he can and probably will look to put some points on the board in the second half

I love this team. Fox's 2 blocks on D Rose drives were the highlight of the half for me.

This team just has a wonderful way about it for a young squad, which is;

Feels like when their down 10 their just a run away from tying it, and when it's close their just a run away from breaking it open. Seems pretty straightforward but for many teams it's not that way, very good sign IMO.

This is probably my favorite part of every game - seeing other teams' stars huffing and puffing because they can't keep up
