I know everyone is in constant outrage mode all the time now but I’m not quite sure why Watkins is mad here? Aside from stupidly hedging like an insane person, there’s really no other way to play that possession without just fouling someone.

Yeah, that isn't the example there, lol. They were trying to defend in a final shot scenario and played back. Max even came up and did pretty good, just a little late. And yeah, that's a straight up illegal screen too.

Defense would’ve improved by a couple more points if the refs didn’t give the Blazers a whopping 40 free throws attempts.

Starting five honestly didn’t look bad. It was the bench unit that was concerning. Malik and Keon have both looked awful to start the year and the Eubanks-Saric frontcourt should never see the light of day in a non-preseason game haha

Most important thing to come out of these games is Nique consistently looking like a full-on NBA player and generally looking better than most of the guys he goes against.
