Better than preseason but that was just unfortunate. Some bad shot selection in the 4th and we gave up far too many 3’s. As the chemistry grows, this team will win a lot more games

Keegan, no need to pump fake man and dove into the air...he should just shoot it with both feet set. That's why he missed. It sucks. Kings defense are sporadic. How are you not able to stop Edward driving to the basket with 3 guys? That's just weak defense.

The Wolves had more three point misses than the Kings had attempts.

I'm sure all the debbie downers will be here in a minute, but can't be anything but stoked after this one. Minny is damn good, they had a Herculean game from Randle and we played them damn well. Need to clean up some of the bad mental mistakes from lack of familiarity/game time together. I also don't think we'll get too many 4th quarters where Fox goes 0-4 either.

And the TWolves shot 40% from downtown. Yeah, our 3pt defense will be a problem all season long again

Perimeter defense, nothing else to say Randle’s idiot savant offense aside.

Perimeter defense was fairly good, Randle going 5-6 and Reid going 4-7 from three aside.

Kings up 10 in the third and the refs united their efforts to get Minny back in the game. That felt like the turning point. It wouldn't have mattered if DeMar made one of those gimmes down the stretch or if we made a better showing of defending their shooting though. Or if Fox wasn't fumbling the ball away.

Bottom line, they are who we thought they were. This Kings offense is going to be a problem for everyone. If they can find a way to be even average on defense they'll make some noise even in a tough Western Conference.

And I don't like how they seem to rush the shots at the end there...rather than taking their time and getting a good execution.

Yeah, the Kings played hard. Now the question moving on is whether or not the Kings can play hard every night because the tools are iffy right now.

Well, we went the distance, gave ourselves a chance to win against one of the top teams, and underscored the value of 3-pt defense and consistent rebounding.

There's maybe 2 teams better than Minny (BOS and OKC). If we play like this most nights, we're going to win a ton of games.
