Remind me why the Kings need Fox.
hali is a pure gold. whoever tries to trade him will be cursed for life!
honestly i dont know either, he has the ability to make the kings as a team better with his scoring and speed though (sometimes ty can be too unselfish). They are totally different players that "can" complement each other.I don’t know if Fox, in his prime, would ever be able to make others better the way Hali does already. Maybe in 3-5 yrs? Kings can’t wait 3-5 yrs.
Pretty sure this is just a copy-paste of someone's post about Fox from last seasonBetween his play, face-of-the-franchise-type personality/leadership, and age (not 22 until the end of Feb), he's easily the last player I'd want to see leave Sacramento if I were making the personnel decisions.
It looks so easy when it's offense being created by the defense. That's the big thing that's going on in the court for the Kings, even the guys that are making mistakes on the offensive end are busting their ass on the other end.Kings going to score 60+ for the half, but the dispersion of points between the players is key. Easy shots = easy points. Efficiency.
One of the things I like about Doug, is that he gives his players a lot of positive energy. Not reluctant to show emotion and celebrate a good play during the action. That lifts a team spirit and culture
In the second half against Memphis we had no one who could create a shot at the rim. I didn't tick Fox in the recent 'Who would you not trade?' poll but he does have some skills that others on the team don't.

The Kings’ reliance on Fox has gotten the franchise nowhere. Truthfully, I think the team plays better without him.
To be fair, Kings fans said this about Fox last season and now they can't wait to throw him on the first bus out of town.
Err, I wasn't asking?i didn't

Maybe if we went "Oh cool! We have another good player to pair with our other good player!" instead of "Oh cool! We've got another good player, let's get rid of the other good player we've already got!", we wouldn't be on year 16 of a playoff drought?
Not mine. And my point isn't to come up with a sentiment that's never been offered about anyone.
Nor is this a diss on Fox, whom I'd love to see thrive in Sacramento. For that matter, it's not a diss on HB (my favorite player) or anyone else. It's love for Hali. A ridiculously likable kid with serious game who can play with anyone and will only get better.

My issue here is that Tyrese is like Draymond Green, an absolutely fantastic, charismatic glue guy. The thing is that if you ask Draymond to go out and win you a game, 9 times out of 10, he won't be able to do it on his own (hence the last two Warriors seasons). You surround him with other good players and he'll make those good players look great. That's currently Tyrese.
