Travis Outlaw may in fact be our most effective offensive player tonight. That's pretty much all you need to know about this game

I thought Ben was having an overall efficient night offensively despite the fact his hands are made of linoleum floor tiles.

DeMarcus needs to keep shooting that jumper he might make one eventually, I mean he's been on fire outside the paint all season long with that jumper......

It's not a question of what I can see; it's a question of what I care about. I don't really give a **** about offense, and I never have. If we were averaging seventy-nine points a game, I still wouldn't care about offense.

I want to see us consistently playing defense, like we are tonight. The offense will take care of itself most nights. And, on the nights when it doesn't, I'll take my chances with defensive effort.

You aren't going to beat anyone playing offense like this regardless of our defense. Spurs are shooting 33% tonight and look at the score

I'd much rather the Kings played defense like this on a consistent basis, and live with the occasional absentee offensive performance. We don't play the Spurs every night, and this quality of defense will beat twenty-five teams in the league, most nights, even if we're not scoring.

No it won't it will beat the Bucks/76ers and a few other rubbish teams who are missing key players, with the low IQ basketball we play we are not beating 90% of the L regardless of defence cause we will ruin it playing garbage basketball at the other end.

A defensive effort that can hold the most efficient offense in the league to 34.8 percent shooting will beat most teams in the league on any night. The key is getting it consistently.

id love to see them play D like this every night too, but come on they have 57pts at the end of 3.Even with good D they won't beat anyone scoring at that rate. Even with great defense in this league you are going to give up around 90ppg

No it won't
Yes, it will. Portland, Denver, Golden State, Minnesota, Phoenix, etc, are not teams that can win when their shots aren't falling. Those are midling-to-poor defensive teams, that rely on their offense. When they're not scoring, they can't win. Those are not teams that can win when they shoot thirty-five percent. Indiana, Memphis, San Antonio, Miami, Chicago... these are teams that can beat you, shooting thirty-five percent. Hell, I'll give you OKC, Charlotte, Houston and the Clippers, too. And that's it. So, yeah, I guess it's not twenty-five... it's twenty. The rest of the teams in the league all need to score to beat you.
