And yet, there is a very vocal minority who want to start him.Obviously he's not a guy who you can play 30 minutes because he plays too physical for today's standards.

And he's worse than most. There. Now we are all enlightened. What I'd like to hear is a solution. It's easy to *****. It's more difficult to find a solution.
BMac is always great in garbage time

Oh, he's had a couple of seasons in the last few where he came close for stretches...and all he does when given those sorts of minutes is grab 11 reb a game.Obviously he's not a guy who you can play 30 minutes because he plays too physical for today's standards.
Brick is right: someone should tell him, that getting selected to the All-Star team starts from the second part of the previous season. That seems to be the only thing that gets him really focused.Honestly don't care about any of this.
He needs to be a leader on the floor before he starts demanding things from the organization. Getting yourself thrown out of the game when YOUR team is getting blown out is weak as hell. You suck it up and make your teammates follow your lead by not mailing it in. He did the exact opposite.
It's even MORE stupid considering the fact Malone was over talking with the refs. It's not like he wasn't going to battle for Cuz.
Didn't say you did.Didn't say I wanted him to start.
Evans is a specialist, who is elite at what he does, when he's allowed to only have to do that. The Kings, as constructed, cannot afford to let him get away with only doing that one thing.Oh, he's had a couple of seasons in the last few where he came close for stretches...and all he does when given those sorts of minutes is grab 11 reb a game.
I'm going to push back a little on this: I don't know anything about DeMarcus Cousins' specific circumstance, but I know a lot of men from similar backgrounds, who grew up under similar circumstances, and none of them were still overgrown babies at twenty-three. My own best friend grew up under similar circumstances, only instead of rural Alabama, it was rural Maryland.
Is it fair to blame the behavior of a twenty-three year-old on his family? No, but I do think it's fair to call his upbringing into question when a twenty-three year-old who behaves as he does on the court doesn't think that there's anything wrong with it. TTBOMK, no one from his family, or anywhere in his life outside of basketball has ever addressed his behavior; no one has ever said anything to the effect of, "I don't know what's going on with DeMarcus, but that's not how he was raised." It's not completely unreasonable to wonder whether he was brought up to think that how he acts on the court is okay?
I'm not as concerned with Cuz. Game was essentially over and was upset his team was blitzed
Starts with a b and ends with tchI am very curious as to what this expletive is. Please PM me.

I don't get the Cuz backlash. This is his first ejection all year. He now joins the 10% of the league that has been ejected at least once this year. Considering he was ejected 4 times last year, I would say it is an improvement.

Are you even watching or do you know nothing about basketball? When a player elevates and you take a forearm and shove him it's a foul. Furthermore, you have no idea what Cousins was saying to get the T.
That whole play is a microcosm of what is wrong with DMC. He plays bad D. Commits a stupid foul, then compounds it by getting a T.
Take off your purple tinted glasses for just a second so you can see the truth.
That's fair. You and I both appear to know people who've had it pretty rough growing up. I tend to believe however that at 23 you're pretty much responsible for your own actions and many guys who've had rough upbringings do a better job containing their emotions, even if one or both parents could be held up as the worst parental examples of the last century.I'm going to push back a little on this:
If we get Embiid, and DMC never grows up, I wonder how long the FO will wait.
Why not? We could get the #1 pick. In 2009 we should have had #1 but got #4.No need to wonder, we won't get Embiid
Embiid is very talented, but he's still making a lot of mistakes right now, so you will have to postpone winning games for 2-3 years. Why not? We could get the #1 pick. In 2009 we should have had #1 but got #4.
I'll take Embiid, and a new PF to start with a Cousins trade. I think there comes a time when you say, Cousins might have strong stats, but it's time to start winning games. No more locker room fights and whining and complaining. I am so sick of it. We've got the worst record in the West
I think it's one thing to try hard and lose, but I think fan support will be waining if the team continues to play with a lack of professionalism and effort.

Asinine.
You do NOT trade established young stars to make room for draft picks. Basically ever. The very high end of your draft pick is that ooh, MAYBE he will one day be as good as the guy we traded away to make room for him. Congrats. And more likely Cousins will be wiping his ass with him for the next 10 years.
If we get a chance to take Embid, either a) he can play next to Cousins, or b) he comes in and does Cousins' dirty laundry until such point that he's not being ruined in every single practice he has against him.

i dont know if any of you guys caught it, but at the end of the last timeout cousins was talking to harden, if my lip reading was correct he said something to effect of "im gonna foul you real hard" you could tell by cuz's demeanor and hardens reaction that it was inflammatory. The rest of the quarter was history.
What happened was that with about 4:30 left in the first quarter on a bang-bang play Cousins set a screen and Harden actually threw Cousins to the floor like a trash can. No foul was called. Cousins wasn't in the mood to play after that. Probably not before it either.
