Great woss tonight. Lakers, Cleveland, Magic, and Boston all lost tonight too, so this was a must lose game.

I wish I had four arms. So I could give this post four thumbs down!

That is one of the most idiotic statements you've made, for a couple of reasons:

1. A LOSS that is really a win as far as draft positioning goes is a LIN. A Woss is a WIN that is actually a loss as far as tanking is concerned.

2. There are no "must lose" games. That kind of attitude is just wrong.

Unless gay/DMC are out for the next 3 weeks we will be better than all those teams plus philly, Milwaukee, and Utah. We arnt getting a top 5 pick.

Ps. **** IT and JT

Outlaw's playmaking 2night >>>any of our guards he actually made 4 tremendous passes which is probably 4 more than his entire career.

Also why did D-Will not enter the game after his cut lip?

About ready to say, keep DMC and Gay, BMAC, Acy and shuffle the deck and get all new players. We need a real PG and tonight's IT performance was super hard to watch. HE TOOK 21 SHOTS TONIGHT for 22 Points. JT always getting stupid fouls and complaining, Gray well he's OK but garbage time only, D-Will - super athletic but lacks a brain, Jimmer - Can shoot the ball but below average ball handler, MT - Good if he's shooting and terrible when not and at 8.5m a year nobody will touch him anyway, Outlaw - Don't like him but OK if you need garbage minutes (tonight was an exception game)

Not as dramatic, but how bout screen off the ball, cut, or anything other than stand in a corner guarded with your hands on your knees?

He could even get in a post up position and put his hands in the air. Anything. With Gay and Cousins out there is no alpha on the floor and its obvious in crunch time.

Pretty much every guy on the team not wearing #22 has tried that. The only one that seems to have any success was sitting next to Rudy Gay tonight.

Only two guys were under 50% from the field.
Landry is still searching for his legs, he made only 4 attempts, and 2 out of 3 of his misses were jumpers, for which legs are important.
The other dude had 22 points in 25 possessions.

Man you guys are really hard on Isaiah...What more can you ask of this guy? He was selected last in the draft and he's only 5'9. I think we can all agree that he takes a lot of inadvertent shots and his play making could be a bit better. I like Isaiah and I feel like he would be a fantastic Sixth Man, but as of right now he's the closest we have to a "starting" PG. Yes I know we have McCallum who I think should get more burn, but he's definitely not ready for the starting job.

These kinds of posts make me want to punch myself in the face.

A lot of guys on this team showed today that, when you give them the ball, they are willing and able to share. When Gray gets 5 assists, IT must be able to go for 15.

There's a reason teams are saying we are the most active team in trade talks he knows it's shot outside the players you named. And if I'm PDA I'm lowering my offer to IT every game that goes by when he plays like this. I'm at no more than 6mill per year.

Oh yeah and why is that?

For the simple reason people have been making it abundantly clear ALL SEASON what their problems are with Isaiah. Most of us agree he's a very good 6th man...but IT doesn't see it that way. I don't care if he's 5'9" or 6'5". There are things you do as a point guard and things you don't do. As far as where he was picked in the draft, that has no bearing in how he conducts himself on the court.

IT plays hero ball. He doesn't look for the open man, he doesn't want to look for the open man, and he'll do anything to avoid looking for the open man. He truly believes he and he alone can make the difference in a game.

Personally not concerned with the outcomes (to tell the awful truth I'd rather lose) but the progress of our team and particularly the young players. In that regard I saw some positives. It's really easy to lose your hat over this game but every team in the league could lose at home to the nuggets without two of their top players

I find it hard to agree with any of it - even though I want to. Kings gave up 30+ pts in every single stinking quarter tonight. That's hard to do in an NBA game against anybody anywhere and Kings gave it up on the home court.

You know, if you're only thinking about the future and what MIGHT BE you're going to regret it one day when you realize you missed all the journey and what actually was.

He's the Pizza guy. All about delivering that ball to the basket

I have to bee honest I have a hard time bashing IT for not being able to change his style of play. He is what he is. If you want to blame someone look first to the bean counting gerbil who has failed to get a true starting PG after letting Evans go.

I'm going to object because it's pretty clear PDA has been doing what he can to upgrade. You can only sell what someone else is willing to buy.

I totally agree with what you're saying, but what you guys are expecting out of Isaiah isn't going to happen because that's just not the type of player he is. As of right now were stuck with him running the team. I also don't post regularly here to know these problems have been discussed, so when I saw the bashing in this thread I thought it was a little much.

By getting upset with his Hero balls and poor Assist/TO ratio? I think those are things he could change as a player and wouldn't be asking too much

Don't get me wrong. I went on a rant a couple of games ago about all the bashing, but games like tonight are just so blasted frustrating it's easy to fall into the same trap.

A bunch of us post all the time here and I think part of our problem is that we've grown incredibly weary of hearing Grant and Jerry sing the praises night after night about the Hustlin' Husky and the Pizza Guy and blah, blah, blah... There's a poll here somewhere that shows most of us would vote IT as one of the top 3 as a sixth man. We just don't buy into the Grant and Jerry hype (which seems to be changing, btw) that Isaiah is the end-all, be-all perfect starting point guard.
