Isaiah looking for some stat padding here
and he wishes there was some "padding" in his shoes standing next to Nate. I know Robinson is short but IT is REALLY short.

Great woss tonight. Lakers, Cleveland, Magic, and Boston all lost tonight too, so this was a must lose game.

Vf21 said bitchslap? Clearly this game didnt go well. Or the refreshments did. Maybe both.
Oops. Maybe I should have had a glass of brandy. It was just coffee tonight...![]()
Does anybody know if IT ever actually delivered those Pizzas for the Pizza Guys promotion? or did he just eat them himself?
Not as dramatic, but how bout screen off the ball, cut, or anything other than stand in a corner guarded with your hands on your knees?
He could even get in a post up position and put his hands in the air. Anything. With Gay and Cousins out there is no alpha on the floor and its obvious in crunch time.
Man you guys are really hard on Isaiah...What more can you ask of this guy? He was selected last in the draft and he's only 5'9. I think we can all agree that he takes a lot of inadvertent shots and his play making could be a bit better. I like Isaiah and I feel like he would be a fantastic Sixth Man, but as of right now he's the closest we have to a "starting" PG. Yes I know we have McCallum who I think should get more burn, but he's definitely not ready for the starting job,
Oh yeah and why is that? These kinds of posts make me want to punch myself in the face.

About ready to say, keep DMC and Gay, BMAC, Acy and shuffle the deck and get all new players. We need a real PG and tonight's IT performance was super hard to watch. HE TOOK 21 SHOTS TONIGHT for 22 Points. JT always getting stupid fouls and complaining, Gray well he's OK but garbage time only, D-Will - super athletic but lacks a brain, Jimmer - Can shoot the ball but below average ball handler, MT - Good if he's shooting and terrible when not and at 8.5m a year nobody will touch him anyway, Outlaw - Don't like him but OK if you need garbage minutes (tonight was an exception game)

Oh yeah and why is that?
Personally not concerned with the outcomes (to tell the awful truth I'd rather lose) but the progress of our team and particularly the young players. In that regard I saw some positives. It's really easy to lose your hat over this game but every team in the league could lose at home to the nuggets without two of their top players

For the simple reason people have been making it abundantly clear ALL SEASON what their problems are with Isaiah. Most of us agree he's a very good 6th man...but IT doesn't see it that way. I don't care if he's 5'9" or 6'5". There are things you do as a point guard and things you don't do. As far as where he was picked in the draft, that has no bearing in how he conducts himself on the court.
IT plays hero ball. He doesn't look for the open man, he doesn't want to look for the open man, and he'll do anything to avoid looking for the open man. He truly believes he and he alone can make the difference in a game.
He might have to settle for rather small tip in the off-season.He's the Pizza guy. All about delivering that ball to the basket
I have to bee honest I have a hard time bashing IT for not being able to change his style of play. He is what he is. If you want to blame someone look first to the bean counting gerbil who has failed to get a true starting PG after letting Evans go.
I totally agree with what you're saying, but what you guys are expecting out of Isaiah isn't going to happen because that's just not the type of player he is. As of right now were stuck with him running the team. I also don't post regularly here to know these problems have been discussed, so when I saw the bashing in this thread I thought it was a little much. For the simple reason people have been making it abundantly clear ALL SEASON what their problems are with Isaiah. I much prefer the jersey. Come back very soon!Btw Cousins looked very slick 2night in that outfit
By getting upset with his Hero balls and poor Assist/TO ratio? I think those are things he could change as a player and wouldn't be asking too muchI totally agree with what you're saying, but what you guys are expecting out of Isaiah isn't going to happen because that's just not the type of player he is.
