Kings vs Lakers

There's also the issue of he's not doing anything to help our big 3 except for iso Reke, iso MT, iso Cuz, and with Cuz not even running cutters off him. For all the talk of Smart getting us more points, Westy ran a better halfcourt offense. Remember those Beno backcuts every game as one example?

I have been saying this for a long long time. Agree wholeheartedly - our halfcourt offense, as bad as it was with all the Tyreke overdribbing and what not, was still better under Westphal.

I think we got alot of ppl wanting their cake and eat it too. you don't want Reke at SF but you don't like him sitting to long for MT to get min. only one resolution to that problem is reke at SF some. Id rather have reke at SF than any other backup option we have personally. you can put him at pg some but the top 2 guys deserve the time they have done well.

Reke could play a little PG

A few of us have called for some Reke/MT time in the backcourt. Only thing worse than Reke at SF is Reke getting cold on the bench. At least wehn playing well.

This is basically why I didn't want Aaron Brooks. No need for him. Slide Evans to backup PG with Jimmer as the emergency guy there. Now our guard rotation is as cluttered as it gets.

Tyreke looks great tonight. i wanna see him attacking like this all year. and this is also why i think a little bit of him playing PG would be good

well our starting lineup is thoroughly outplaying the Laker starters. happened in the first and its happening again. if Smart can figure out not to take all 5 starters out for the whole 2nd quarter this team will be in business

you know the real nice thing I have seen tonight that I have been asking for for a while, is Reke is handling the ball, and Isaiah is playing more off of it as the scorer. Its a restoration of the Beno principle. It hjandles some possessions, btu really he's mostly jsut catchign and making quick moves for scores. Reke is rebounding, and dishing, and choosing when to slam inside. That's how you get the good stuff out of him.

Evans looking like a rookie again.. (thats a good thing).

For one, we're playing him like how we used to. Give him the ball, clear space and let him create. It's good to have him work on some off the ball skills but ultimately you want him to become a better all-around player, not a completely different one.

exactly! he needs to run the offense more.

my only complaint is him hanging out in the paint on defense leaving his guy out on the 3pt line alone

Playing against Dwight Howard doesn't scare me as much as I thought it would. I know he isn't 100%, but even when he was in Orlando I felt like his impact against us was marginal.
