Kings vs Lakers

Bench needs to get some direction here. When you have MT and Brooks on the floor and Outlaw and Cisco are firing up junk, someone needs to tell them to set up the real scorers.

i swear im gonna give Smart a piece of my mind if the regular season comes along and he is still benching the entire starting lineup for the WHOLE second quarter like he did last year

Since Marcus came in Outlaw has shot, brooks has shot cisco shot twice 0-4 thornton 1 shot 1-1. come on MT has to have the ball

Hayes and Outlaw as your frontcourt pairing is a disaster waiting to happen.

Why our FO failed by not getting another big. Just imagine is either Cuz or JT get injured.

JJ was a steal, and a great move by Petrie, but not getting a legit backup center, especially if JT starts, is just as bad as getting JJ is good.

ya, wish we still had Dalembert

this better be Smart just trying to decide what players he wants to give the minutes too when the season starts. if i see this lineup out there in a real game im gonna throw something at my TV

well MT, Cisco and Brooks have all shot well this preseason. they are a little off tonight. stuff like that will happen on occasion. now time for the starters to come back.

This is what I mean, can Smart actually put guys in a position to succeed within a game?

He's not running plays for MT. MT had to force a post up which wasn't pretty and then an iso on the wing, which he scored but isn't his strength. No actual plays run for him.

He also seems to have told every player to shoot every jumper you can.

Things like this make me wonder whether I'm actually happy we have Smart instead of Mike Brown. But LOL @ Mike Brown. I think he'll be fired by the all star break.

Yup. I had no real problem dropping Whiteside, but I thought they would bring someone else in. They didn't. I'd take Whiteside/Hayes over Hayes/Outlaw. In fact, I'm not sure why we aren't trying Ndiaye .. seems like the perfect opportunity with Robinson out.

something i see tonight that i definitely like, is DMC getting Howard into even worse foul trouble than Howard is getting him into

At the risk of playing devil's Advocate, Hill, unlike Outlaw, is a true PF, and also outweighs Outlaw by thirty pounds. Is there some good reason why Outlaw should be able to guard Hill in the post?

Because Outlaw shouldn't be guarding a 4/5 in the post ever.

so we put up 30 first quarter points with our starting lineup that people are worried about not having enough "Shooting" and only 6 points in the first 9 minutes of the 2nd with our "high scoring" bench players in
