The thing is, we're not actually trying to discourage people from being critical, contrary to the opinions of a vocal minority. It's just that, when your criticism is rarely/never constructive, and you're only commenting when the Kings are losing, we'd like to minimize that. Like, for example, @SLAB is everyone's favorite grouch: he largely gets a pass for his complaining because everybody knows that he "keeps that same energy," as the kids say, rain or shine (Plus, he mostly only goes off the deep end when it's the Warriors, anyway). Posters like @Kingster and @sactowndog get a lot of grace, as well: they may be critical of the team, but they're not just critical after losses. They may not have the most popular opinions, but I don't think that there are many who question their objectivity.I could not agree more with this - this has been my theory for a couple years. I'll also say the mods here are extremely tolerant of such behavior - much more gracious than I would be!
tl;dr - Criticism is fine. Complaining/negativity is (mostly) fine. Only coming around to complain... not so fine.
