Preface:"VF21 asked me to fill in since venom_7 has apparently been delayed or something, so here goes..." (I tend to follow suggestions like instructions sometimes, and as once told by my ROTC instructor: "Do as you're told, do as you're told, and uh... do as you're told."

How cool was that game last night? How many of you are elated to have witnessed the potential emergence of our future ROY, 9 time All Star, 1st team All NBA, MVP Caliber [insert official position] guard? Havoc, I'm on the band wagon. Don't give me a reason to believe Brandon Jennings was a better option ever again ( Jennings's contribution and stats: 18.4 ppg, 4.4 apg, 1.6 spg, have been freakin' impressive.) I won't go into depth about last nights game, but I will link up these two threads:

When threads like those happen, you should know you ought to have watched the game.

If anything should translate to this game, I hope it's this: I was most impressed by the outstanding passing ability of JT, who seems to show us something new every time out, and the way Tyreke collapsed the defense when he entered the post. How about we just start JT at the point and move Havoc to the 4? What a weird sort of inverted Nellyball nightmare that would pose for our opponent tonight, the Master of Miniscule, Nelly himself.
This is my favorite matchup, Warriors Vs. Kings; the pace is almost guaranteed to melt your face. If you have a heart, you should immediately buy tickets to the game, travel up or down I-5, exit Arena BLVD, go east to the Arco Arena Entrance, sit in the delapitated gym with wooden floors, and stomp and scream for the hustling young players we saw upset the Jazz last night. (Yep, it's a home game.) I think I will enjoy the Evans Vs. Ellis/Curry matchup most. BTW, have you all noticed the absolute deluge of talented competition thrown at Havoc in these first 7 games? I never realized how talented the whole NBA appears to be at the 1 position, and Havoc (is his nickame sinking in yet?) seem more than capable against them all.

Since I'm doing this in a hurry, I'd like to get straight to the awards:
AWARD TIME
TDM went to Wes Matthews. Who the heck is Wes Matthews, and why was he allowed to score 11 points off the bench?
LW-VC Fesenko. No contribution as far as I can tell.
JHA Sean May. What is going on with all these 6'7" college superstars sucking wind in the NBA? On our team?!
SAR/Methuselah - I'm tempted to give this to AK-47 every time I watch him play. What the he**, at the risk of a fleecing I give him the honor. I just think he geared way down over the past couple years.
WTF moment of the game - Our coaching staff wins the game. Not any particular player, just solid decisions from the bench. Been a long time since we've seen any of that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
We match up against the worst of our division tonight, and let's hope to keep it that way. GO KINGS!
