One of these Fox games were bound to happen. Just a poor game overall and not entirely surprising with Jrue Holiday draped all over him all game.

What's great is everyone else picked him up and honestly Barnes too. Lyles, Sabonis, Mitchell and DDV were all pretty good and we hung tough with one of the best teams in the NBA till the final few minutes. Secured the lin and got more data on who the potential core guys are next year (DDV and Lyles too).

One small step back this year could be another giant leap forward in the summer and this team needs talent. One more major one.

Yep. Add one or two more major pieces via the draft and/or trade and/or MLE to this Fox/Sabonis/Mitchell/DiVincenzo roster and the Kings are in far better shape than they've been in at least a decade.

Really, if there's anyway to get Justin Holiday out of the starting lineup (still think he would be an effective rotation guy in spurts), I'll take it.

Brutal game for Fox in the turnover department coming down the stretch. The 2nd to the last turnover was especially bad, as Sabonis was wide open in the lane for an easy layup.

I love the guts and fight from these new additions to the Kings - DDV, Mitchell and Sabonis.

Lyles is a good addition to this team: smart, feathery touch, good rebounder.

The officials just sucked in this game.

Yeah, I'm sure the hand injury didn't help matters either. It took the dude a full two quarters to figure out how to play one handed and even then he was having issues holding the ball and passing on target.

Even five or six might be an overpay at this point. I think I'd rather have Keegan Murray at a controlled cost than Julius Randle at a very expensive one.

if we stayed at 7 or 8 I’d assume Monte would look to move the pick. I think he takes Murray if he is at 5 or 6. It will be interesting to see if Atlanta and New York look to move off of Randle and Collins even though both teams are in win now mode.
