I just don't see anyone on our roster who can do the job. Maybe KZ when we still had him, but even that is a stretch. Monte is going to have to go out and find a defensive specialist at the PF/C position at some point over the next few years. We can get stops against guards and wing creators somewhat reliably when the whole team is engaged defensively and guys are putting forth the level of effort needed but we have no answers for mobile and skilled bigs.
Obviously nobody is going to shut him down, but I'd put money on Trey Lyles doing a better job than Metu

There's no reason Fox shouldn't have gas in the tank. He's had a TON of games off from maternity leave, a wrist, a hammy, and from the All Star break. I want more from Fox. I thought he could have been more aggressive pushing the ball in the 4th.
He's missed 7 games out of 67. Not sure I'd call that a ton. He also played in more games *during* the all star break than 90% of the league.

Giannis was kind of being a brat. He dribbled in front of Trey and it looks like he hooked him a little with his arm when he stopped in front of Lyles and Lyles didn't like it. Lyles certainly overreacted but Giannis knew what he was doing.
Precisely. You're going to win the game and you're dribbling it out. Instead of just standing there you dribble into the defender. Lyles took that as a "Oh, so you still want to mess around?" and rightfully played on it.

Watching the Bucks handling the Suns with relative ease right now. Also realizing Joe Ingles, Wes Matthews and Goran Dragic also on the Bucks. Damn that team is deep.

We've got the potential MVP of the G-League in Neemias Queta that could possibly fill those shoes. It's just a wait and see to see if Brown gives him the opportunity. If not this year, may be next year?

But Queta has the size and tools to potentially be that shot blocking defensive big the Kings need to slow down the big centers in the league.

Love the Mike Wilbon matter of fact take on the Lyles, GA, Lopez incident. He’s spot on. Meanwhile in our own local Cattles show, he’s ripping into Lyles for his reaction. I turned the dial. Cattle’s is so wrong on this. I’m riding with Coach Brown and Lyles and all the others not taking this stuff

Even if Kings starters kicked in tiny percentage of their salary would be more that enough (excluding Murray since he's on rookie contract). Better yet, let Vivek pay it or negotiate extension for Lyles as Kings "enforcer" certainly deserves to be extended.

I love Queta! I've been banging that drum since before we even drafted him. I hope he gets called up and actually plays for this team at some point because we need someone with size we can bring in to protect the paint against certain teams. The issue with Giannis though is that I think it's going to be basically impossible to stop him unless the league decides to change the way they call fouls (as seen in @Tetsujin 's post here).

It was a competitive game with some lead changes. I'm just really happy Milwaukee plays in the East. How have they lost 19 times?! Who has been beating them?!
