Well in McGary's case, he missed pretty much all of last season due to injury. AND, from what I've seen of him, he's not really in the mold of a guy who'll be a defensive stalwart either. But I'll leave the hardcore analysis to Bajaden or the Wolverine fans here.

The year prior to him getting hurt, he had a really nice year. He was being talked about as a lottery selection. He looked intelligent out there and he played hard. I think he will be just fine in the pros, it helps that he is going to a winning program with veterans around to help him adjust to the game that much faster.

He'll get his blocks, but don't expect him to ever shut down a good offensive player. I'd say you won't get killed with him on D. On O...mehhh...he really has to improve consistency. sometimes he looks like he can handle a jumper, sometimes he has no business shooting it unless he's under the basket. That said, around the basket he's going to get it in.

To me, he's more of a hustle guy off the bench to spark a run with his energy. I wouldn't let him start, though. Not yet.

This is wrong. He didn't start until the NCAA tourney that year and didn't show much skill to match his 5* rating out of school. He would come off the bench and lift the team up with his energy and a few plays that showed hints of potential, but he really didn't do anything until the tourney when the coaches put him in the starting lineup. Actually, before the tourney, a lot of people wondered if he was a bust.

Is oriakhi the guy we got for IT? Shouting like a general on defense, nice hook and mid range shot too. A little undersized, but seems well coached. Ben Mac looking nice out there.
 
It freaking figures. Sounds like our young kids - and hopefuls - are having a great game and I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow to see it. Keep the comments coming, fellow Kings fans. :)
 
Where are you watching this game? I figured it would of been aired live on NBA TV, I go check and that is not the case. What gives?
