Holy cow this is a fun team to watch!!!!
We're watching an all-star point guard come into his own right in front of our eyes. So much to be thankful for. Credit to Vlade for sticking with his vision. Credit to Vivek for allowing him to pursue it. Credit to us for being Kings fans. We suffered through the bad and now we can relish every moment of the good.

Willie has been great. Great BBIQ to take that Jumper with Bjelly under the basket. Even on the one of the last turnovers a botched pass from Bjelly to Willie, he dives on the floor in such a crazy athletic way for a 7-footer. dude is nimble.

I thought the Kings looked a bit gassed at the end of the half.

Crazy thing is Westbrook and Schroder are 2 of the fastest PG's in the league,this is one of the best possible teams for Fox to test his speed against, and he passes with flying colors....

I love the expression on Coach’s face for a lot of that first half. He was totally loving that start.
69-56 Kings at the half. I'd love to hear what's going on in the OKC locker room right now. They don't have a lot of extra energy to draw on. Kings ran them ragged and I don't see that stopping.

I think it's really worked out having Jerry and Koz kick it up in the booth and Doug and Grant on the floor. Jerry still gets to be quite a bit involved in the game. I hope he's doin ok though.
Maybe, but they're kids. They don't know they're supposed to get tired. They're gonna take a few breaths in the locker room and come out for the second half rested and ready to go.

And the Kings by contrast have a ton of legs left. They can run FM3 out there and burn everybody out, then keep running at high octane with Fox. We have crazy speed on our team, not even us really fully use it.

If the Kings weren't gassed by the end of that half I'd suspect they were doping like some cyclists.
I think this was a brilliant decision. Jerry doesn't have to travel and he gets to do what he loves to do most - share his love and knowledge of the game without the pressure of being part of the broadcast team. And remember, we've got the G-Man on the radio.
He's right though. Most of those were unforced errors. Maybe youth and carelessness but definitely careless in the mix somewhere.

Games on NBATV are sometimes delivered under this format called “players only” ... where instead of having normal broadcasters we get a bunch of former players in a studio somewhere loosely commenting on the game and mostly blathering on about nonsense. It’s excruciating.

All three are fast but De'Aaron's fast twitch reaction time is possibly the best I have ever seen in any sport.

The more I hear Doug Christie broadcast games the more I think "this guy is way better than Reggie Miller, and his voice is way easier to listen to"
