[Game] Kings v. Thunder - 2/29/16 - 7 PT, 10 ET

The depressing thing is you look up and down the roster and you just don't see it. Don't see where the run is going to come from. Cousins has 32-10, is on one leg. Realistically you can't ask for too much more. If he makes 40 pts its a hero effort, and we will lose. And you look around and who is going to suddenly give us a 10pt burst?
You think the Kings need more offense and not defense though.

Time to shut the big fella down, engage tank mode and keep doing the same dance the Kings have been doing for over a decade.

Sheesh.

That's not the way the numbers look. not yet.

If he's out for any time, yep.

Until then the season is still limping along. Winnable games in Memphis, New Orelans and Dallas on this trip Need 2, then you are still alive. Then need at least 3 of 4 gimmes after the Cleveland game. 4 of 4 and you are really alive.

Could be done in 2 weeks. Aren't yet.

@MEM <--possible win
@DAL <--possible win
@SAN
@NOH <--possible win
CLE
ORL <--possible win
UTH <--possible win
@LAL <--possible win
NOH <--possible win

we'll know by the end of that stretch if we have any hope or not. Win 7 and you are back in it. Win 6 and you are still breathing. 5 is life support. 4 or less = probably white flag.

Ben McLemore provides DEFENSE, but I guess terrible defenders like Marco, Rondo, Collison, and ACY are in the game instead.

It doesn't seem to matter what happens in the first 3 quarters. We always go to this three guard nonsense in the fourth and it always kills us.

I thought that until I saw the replay. Adams didn't have either of his hands on DeMarcus, he was just lying there. DMC could have stepped around him and then he overreacted afterward. It easily could have been called a tech.
He was using his flexing arm to "lock" Cousins foot, in hopes for Cousins to pull his foot out forcefully so he can flop the attempt. That's option A for Adams, where option B is what we saw happened, except Cousins didn't retaliate as Adams would hope for.

This is disgusting. We're conceding the game halfway through the fourth quarter because George Karl refuses to put defenders on the floor and turned a 10 point lead into an 18 point lead in 4 minutes. Why didn't we fire this guy again?

I commend those still holding out hope for the playoffs but personally I just dont see this group having what it takes to get it done.

I'm honestly impressed. I would have.

Got kicked out of my final high school football game in the first half when I felt a guy dove at my knee from the side. Kicked him in the face(mask). Wish I hadn't, but its a natural reaction when you think somebody is trying to hurt you.

George Karl is the worse thing to happen to this franchise in a very long time.

I really wish we would have dropped this old hag before this season started. This ***hole got the most talented roster Sacramento has seen in 10 years and completely ****ed it up. Might be a HOF'er but you're a ****ing loser in my book. Can't wait to see his ass canned.

I don't know what the problem is. If we score 132 we win right?. Makes sense to me.

Me neither. This is why I think the Kings should just tank the season. We're not going to get in the playoffs and it's ****ing pathetic. The West is freaking terrible this year, and we can't even get 8th seed. Utah is injured as hell. Blazers went on a full-rebuild losing 4/5 starters. Houston is dysfunctional as hell. Memphis is injured and old. Dallas is old as hell. Everyone on the Pelicans is injured.

How do the Kings not make the playoffs this year? Maybe they just aren't good enough. No need to win meaningless games.

Yes.

That is the drum Brick has been beating all season.

Huh?

He's referring to my support of bringing in Kevin. But its not an honest complaint. He doesn't want Kevin because it threatens Ben, and the attahcment there is unnatural. I want whoever can help. We get lit up anyway, so I'd take a shot at a guy who was averaging 20ppg last year and see if maybe Cousins doesn't have to put up 33 shots just to see us get blown out anyway.
