[Game] Kings v. Rockets - 4-8-12

You know, Whiteside is starting to have a positive impact. Just baby steps, but noticable and with more poise and confidence.

Are you happy with how Evans is playing? I am 100% serious with that question.

There are a lot of people who criticize Evans, and there are a lot of people who come back and defend him.

I often wonder how the Evans defenders (Not necessarily putting you in that group) actually think he's playing. I can't make any more excuses for him. We needed him to step up with Thornton out (much like Thornton stepped up when Evans was out) and he hasn't. And I hate saying that. I want him to be good so badly, but this hasn't been a great year for him.

No I'm not. I think he isn't playing that well, but I also think he's just tired of getting yanked around, having his role constantly changed, different sub pattern every night, and we're seeing a drop in effort and low confidence because of it.

I'm disappointed in his jumper. Also disappointed in how he's being used. He looks confused, and lost, and it's not just him either. Most of the team looks confused and lost.

agreed. im a reke fan, but its getting harder and harder to defend him to the point that im almost done with him. ya hes young but he hasnt shown any growth imo. still drives in traffic to be stopped, will drive in traffic to jump and get stuck and turn it over, shot has not improved. i want him to be so good on the KINGS but idk how much longer we can go without any improvement shown. hasnt stepped up with mt out like you said, majority of the ball movement that was here when he was out has left...but this whole team just sucks, im sure part of the issue is roles being switched around and playing SF

having a shot blocker on the floor is having a positive impact... too bad whiteside gets lost at times with his position ....

I strictly watch the bench, never the game.

Given your idiotic question, I hope you don't have a drivers license. Take the bus and keep the rest of Utah safe.

Given your idiotic complaining about the team making a comeback with the "wrong" players on the court I would think you would understand my idiotic question.

That means a lot from a Jazz troll who thinks Favors is better than Cuz. F off.

I'd put all the starters back in right now and play them until the bitter or sweet end. Oh, minus JT - as I'd go with Twin Towers of Cuz and Hassan at least for awhile.

Cuz is sure proving me wrong tonight.

Is that what your angle is Npliam? Your a Jimmer fan.. if you are intelligent enough (and I know you are, judging from your other posts) to point out the faults in Cousins, you better know that Jimmer at this point can't play in this league.

I don't think he is playing well. But, my attitude is that you try to predict what will happen next and I think the athletic Tyreke is as likely to break out of it as a sub is to play as well. I just wish he was playing a natural position. For you basketball gurus who seem to know everything there is about basketball (not you MKF), is it easy to change to an absolutely new position in the middle of a season?

Tyreke is the ultimate team guy and will just say "yes, sir" but he has not been put in a position to succeed and that bothers me. The ones who seem to enjoy picking on him, something I still don't understand, must understand that he has been asked to do something that is not natural to him.

In my brief flurry of atrhletics I once switched positions for a game and was absolutely lost. I mean shifting from my natural position of shortstop to 2nd base. Everything happens from a diffeent angle.

Tyreke is not the reason we are losing.

I think Jimmer would be better served playing for a team that runs a real offense and has big men that play defense. He is rookie and has shown steady improvement as the season has gone on. I think he will be better next year and may never be more than a back up player but one that can score in bunches.

Cuz has the ability to be a dominate post player in the league but I believe he is really far away from that (although the last 10 or so game he has been good) because he is so inefficient and doesn't play a lot of defense.
