[Game] Kings v. Raptors, 2/5/14, 7 PM PST, 10 PM EST

Also via John Santiago:
Why Adam Silver is confident that a new arena will be built in Sacramento:

"I'm confident because I've known Kevin Johnson for over 20 years. I knew him as a player, I knew him as a broadcaster and obviously I know him as a mayor now. I've sat in literally dozens of meetings with lawyers, political advisors, political leaders both from Sacramento and from California. And talking to Vivek and his partners that I'm absolutely confident that it's going to get done."

Worst case scenario? I could see the NBA kicking in the city's share as an investment. Not that it will be necessary, but I do not think there's any way this arena does not get built.

I agree that's the worst case scenario but I can't imagine these owners running out of money for an arena.

I'm referring to the $200+ million the city is currently scheduled to contribute. If, for some bizarro world reason, STOP got things delayed as far as the city contribution, I truly believe the NBA would step in and make up any difference.

VERY SAVVY play by Rudy Gay. All too often trailers fade when the lead guy goes up for the dunk. Rudy didn't and we got the points. :)

Or loan it. Gotcha. The NBA will not let this arena fail to be built.

IT has two games in a row where he has shown restraint and I like that. He might not like it but .... there is the team to think about.

If we keep this team together going into next season, I'd wager we could be a playoff team. If we make some obvious improvements, we are.

Then again, I'm a bit of a homer.

i can't freakin believe this team is 3rd in the East. what a joke. The NBA really needs to get rid of conferences in playoff seedings
