They need to keep playing as the team they are in the 2nd half. Pop Dedmon out on those screens instead of setting him up with the ball in the high post. At some point this season that may be the go to play should tanking be the plan, but for now it's no bueno.

I mean, lets not run our offense through Dedmon. We tried that with WCS, didn't work out well.

Not sure why he isn't shooting. Has had a couple looks where it looked like he could pull a few. If he's not gonna shoot those, takes away a lot of his offensive value.
It doesn't diminish his value on offense it completely nullifies it.

And truth be told Willie has much better skill at it than Dedmon has ever shown. They're starting to roll Dedmon a bit too much on those screens. He doesn't have great hands and isn't an above the rim big so when a team is packing it on you like the Blazers are his one option is a floater off the catch. No thank you on too much of that going down.

I wish we could swap Ariza for Shump. I really miss his energy.
Careless pass led to turnover, fast break and he didnt try to run after the ball (he just threw away) he just jogged, after he waited a little bit to make sure the opponent would get a dunk. Mot liking what I see from Ariza and he was the FIRST substitution for the kings today.

He may be over the hill for real this time. I feel like he was good on the Rockets so recently, but it just doesn't seem like he cares anymore.

Dedmon is playing like poop once again. Should he really be the starter here? He's more of a bench big. But then again, Kings don't have the luxury of having much size so he's starter by default.

I mean all you had to do was watch basketball the past 3 seasons. He's been toast for awhile now, surviving on pure name value.
I thought he looked OK with the Wizards. His efficiency wasn't good but he looked like he was trying at least. This looks like the type of veteran you sign for "locker room leadership", not a rotation player.

Dedmon, like most role players, will look terrible when put in a position to do the things they are terrible at. The issue with him is it will also start to trickle over into his defense. You can see him getting frustrated out there.

Yep. We have no starting center. Holmes is a bench guy. Giles is really a PF, and can't stay on the floor. Bagley is a PF. Swanigan is a large human. There's not a lot of choice. It's Dedmon. Not sure that was a great Plan A, though.

I questioned a couple of the moves Vlade made but that's water under the bridge now. At least these signings are on a team friendly deal, so should it not work out with Dedmon, they can always move him at the deadline or in the off season if they want to experiment for the whole season.

I hear sabonis is available for the right price...
