Not really. I'd heard it wasn't likely to be finalized until after the 4th (don't remember why) but also because if Charlotte were trying back out I think that would be relatively big NBA news. Draft day deals are pretty much considered binding. Otherwise it would break down all trust between teams.

Did he hurt himself after the trade? If so, so what?
Well, because the trade is in principle only, it hasn't been finalized.
He was hit in the eye/jaw. Sounds like he will be OK by the time training camp starts. And if he's playing now with a mask...
