Super resilient win. Horrible shooting night from your three starters who are great three point shooters. Sabonis battled through foul trouble all night. No Sabonis in OT. Huge missed call from the refs at the end if the game to send it to OT. On the road against a conference Playoff competitor. And yet we pull out the win.
I need to shake off the KANGZ 16-year PTSD out of me and start keeping faith in this team more.

that was a crazy game. Wolves have some studs on their team, Noel, Reed, Ant were absolutely destroying our team. Props to them.
Rudy was also an unstoppable presence down low, he was great as well
Crazy to think Karl Anthony Towns is still missing, however, I don't know how that affects that team chemistry wise. What I saw was a very good, tough, promising team.
Turnovers I think were just too much for them
As for the Kings, I think the person who really turned things around for us was Terrence Davis. Hit some crucial threes that the team desperately needed in the 3rd
Fox was huge in the 4th quarter, and Trey Lyles was huge in overtime.
Props to our guys for pulling this one out. I was actually surprised that overtime went as easy as it did.
Such a big win, props to everyone including the coaching staff who decided to go small in overtime and match up Lyles with Gobert, I didn'thave the greatest thoughts on that because I was thinking about the defensive end but I wasn't taking into account the matchup problem that Lyles created for Gobert on the offensive end.

That's the thing, this far into his career, he just won't do it. It's a double edged sword. His low attempts are because he's selective, him being selective is what makes him so efficient. It's the same thing with Barnes. Per 48 Metu takes the same amount of shots as Domas per game this season. Huerter, Lyles, and Monk are above Domas in FGA's per 48.

The Kings give sleepless nights to the refs in a different way.
KAT went out and the team quietly turned their season around. So it seems like it might be a net positive on the chemistry side. I don't know why they thought those two were ever going to work together.
Timberwolves' win probability was 67.1 percent to start the fourth quarter, 70.3 percent with 1:59 left in regulation.
Also, for those still asking why people are making a big deal out of the officiating, a quick glance at the standings in the western conference indicates that this loss dropped the Timberwolves from fifth place to ninth. No margin of error at all.

Putting in Terence Davis for 16 minutes paid big dividends. He was +16 while on the court, with some big plays and active defense.
The Kings depth/offensive firepower has been a big reason we're at this spot. We can absorb a bad Huerter/Barnes game when Monk goes off, TD gives you a big spark and Lyles has become a fairly consistent shooter/scorer. There's almost always someone who can pick up the slack when one of the starters is having a bad game
I'd be fine cutting out the back-up C slot, giving those minutes to Lyles and start experimenting with T.Davis 8-10 MPG instead. See if that helps give the bench a more consistent scoring punch. Certainly couldn't get much worse defensively.

he can put a few more up. This season is actually lowest FGA attempts since reaching his all star level of play a few years ago. Around 15 per game is the highest of his career. I’ll settle for 13 for this season. If he is taking 16-17 shots per game without more than a few perimeter attempts in there, then the Kings simply aren’t doing what they want to do.
I wish he would take more of the open perimeter looks he gets.
It's kind of wild a team like the Lakers that was keenly aware of a BS freethrow being given to them to win a game a few weeks ago goes into total meltdown over a missed call, to the extent that a player gets a technical by bringing a goddamned camera onto the court and LeBron is rolling around the floor making a scene in a way that probably would have gotten other players penalized with Ts or delay of games ... anyway, that in comparison we can maintain complete and total composure when calls didn't go our way and actually maybe even ultimately rally around Sabonis's early shower to pull this off. And refs to their credit called a fair game in OT and it was not so much of a sweatfest except on that one 3pt play that cut our lead in half when it was starting to feel good.
It rarely hurts to have an all-confidence, no-conscience gunner on the bench, especially when forty percent of the starting lineup apparently missed wake-up call.
