5:59 left in 1st Q, score 4-4, lots of defense, fair amount of fouls. Garcia is very quick on defense and has made 2 near steals at defense end. No flow to the game yet.
 
Two fast breaks in a row plus a nice transition bucket. Martin involved in all 3.

More defense than I've seen before in summer league game. Suns line up was: Barbosa PG, Katelynas SF, Tischer PF, Jamison C

Previous 2 games were in mid 20's end of 1st Q.

Garcia and Martin have played whole way so far. Homan and Yango in, both doing ok so far.

Lots of outside dribbling as they haven't learned how to pick-and-roll yet. Adrenelian levels finally starting to come down. Stats in a minute

Yeah, I'm sitting at the end of the court behind Scotty Sterling and Don Nelson watching and laptopping on the wireless network they setup at Cox pavilion

Suns fast break, Garcia flies in to block shot 2 ft from backboard. Archibald does a Miller, body on the floor chasing loose ball.

Kings fast breaking, Suns transitition and jumpshooting.
1:18 to go in half. 30-35 Kings down 5 but have ball out.

You have no idea how much of a ball I'm having watching. Right now in stands there are more scouts, agents and team personnel than paying customers, not unusual actually. Only Joe Maloof sitting courtside of owners.

Garcia is really good. Great court sense, quick, good defender. Martin can take the elevator up to the 8th floor for some great hang time jumpers.
Suns made a bunch of jumpers in last 2 minutes while Kings had more shots they didn't fall.

Intensity on defense is obvious as Kings had bunch more fouls.

Dijon Thompson, a rookie from UCLA, Katelynas a 6-9 rookie from Tenn-Chattanooga and just about anyone else in the area.

His D looks real good.... ;)
