How did Artest think he was going to start that low, telegraph EXACTLY what he was going to do, and think Amare wouldn't knock that down?

Just switched to espn for ten minutes and came back to see us down by 26

Who says they think the Suns won't contend?

Silly.

They wouldn't do this against San Antonio, or Houston. It was a close game the whole way with San Antonio and the Suns last weekend. It's easy to play this way when you are good, and the team you are playing against isn't.

uh. we were only down 3 before i got distracted. and came back to this?! i can't even comprehend what could have happening in the last 12 minutes to lead to this

Might as well let Wright play tonight with this kinda garbage, at least if we are going to lose by 40 we can have bad players out there to make it look a little better.:D

Check the PBP. I was watching and I can't comprehend how it happened. I'm thinking some kind of rift in the space-time continuum but that's just a guess.

What part of that means that the Suns can't contend?

They could do this against Houston now that Yao is out. Only San Antonio has the frontcourt to size up with the Suns. And SA contends every year and wins every other year. Sounds like the Suns can conted to me.

I didn't get to watch this game, but can someone who did answer me this: why did Artest take 22 shots and Martin only take 6?
