dude I thought 'bush league' was only a Foresthill thing. heh. Ya its justice that Barbosa got hurt. It was also bush when stoudemire was stat padding. He is on my fantasy team, but he already turned in a good game. D'Antoni needs to pull out his guys when the game is in hand. Just ask Adelman.

That's just not cool. As a fan of a team that has seen some horrific injuries, you NEVER say it's justice that a particular player got hurt.

Siiiiiiick. Anybody, see that block!?

For only playing 4 minutes a game, Justin is getting an awful lot of highlights.

well at least our rebounding was good. 33 to 58...I say we need bigger guys over athleticism. then again rebounding is all effort I suppose. I dont know anymore, Rebounding is out biggest issue, its been consistently bad.

Size is overated in rebounding, especially with the three point line. Quickness to the ball and anticipation are more important. I wouldn't mind having someone with both size and quickness in the paint, though. The only player we have with both is Jason Williams, and he doesn't have the skills at this point.

Of course there weren't a whole lot of people complaining when Kobe had intestinal difficulties during a certain playoff game...

was williams the only big man on our team with a block last night? why doesnt he get more minutes? at a position we are the worst at filling he should get more minutes. someone send a letter to the maloofs.

In 4 minutes Williams got his hand on the ball for blocks 3 times and challenged a 4th. Looks like he was only credited with one. The guy definitely has the "it" factor as a shot blocker even on the nba level. Offensively he bumbles the ball but defensively he could be a solid contributor.

word up. this coach hasnt done anything right all season. we all like williams. he's pulling down more rebounds and swatting more shots in 4-9 minutes. more than thomas and miller in 25 minutes. i'm not riding his jock, but you gotta give him some kind of praise. i just hope we dont trade him. he can be a solid backup behind our new p/f or center.

Trading him is not a consideration ebcause he's not even ours after this month is over. Be a FA. But likely an "invite to camp/partial guarantee if you have a good summer league" type FA, so if we want him back we could have a good shot at it sicne I doubt anybody will be willing to go fully guaranteed money with him.

Petrie gave Ronnie a 2 year deal at the minimum (making 600k this year) before camp I recall - I think Justin has shown enough to get that. Make a minor commitment to him and see if he shows more in the next two years. Worst case is we cut him and lose about what we lost by cutting Loren Freaking Woods before the season started.
