just read that on the other site. very interesting indeed, maybe we can still get what we want. as someone over there said, "it's the first time I'm rooting for a player to be a spoiled brat."

First off, Fegan tried this with Yi Jianlian, they called his bluff, and he ended up looking like an idiot. I don't think his preferences carry much weight.

Second, I'm still just not very excited about Rubio.

C'mon. Yi's career isn't RR's career overseas. RR wants to cash in on NBA money, but he's not desperately looking to leave his career IMO. He's a star over there, and has a legitimate alternative to playing for, say, the Thunder. He has more leverage than Yi, and so IMO you can't just say the result will be the same as Yi's situation.

Second, I agree. I think he's getting too much hype.
