I've had enough of this forum dogging out Peja. Would Peja have made a difference? Hell yeah he would have! Webber was off big time tonight! Peja is a great basketball player, he would have made a difference!

It was a good call on Brad. Refs have made bad calls BOTH ways tonight, pretty fair in my estimation, welll....I guess they could be more in our favor, dammit.
Pretty fair???

Problem with the NBA is that ref's "assume". They "assumed" that Barnes touched that ball in the first half and called offensive goaltending even though it's pretty obvious that the official that called it did not see it. Happens all the time and the Spurs just happen to be the new Lakers. They can foul anyone at anytime and don't get the call.

We fell apart - because certain players are just not smart enough not to force the issue
They've been trying to force the issue all night. Steve Kerr has said that Chris got a call for his side because he complained.

Sure, because...as usual....he would have occupied Bowen who would have shut him down.....as usual...... and Mobley would have had a better second half.

Spurs are better than the Kings. Plain and simple
Well , i cant say that until we play them with all our people , Chris Webber was hurt , Pejda didnt play , Mo-Evans and Bo-Jax are out ... with all this we played them close...

Well like I said with 7 min left. Props to the Kings for boucning back from the Blow out and gutting out a close game despite injuries. Adelman shold have a good idea now what level the Kings need to play at in the play offs.

When Web is out, Peja shines. Web didn't exactly shine tonight.

That's my one and only shot...

Our Offense looked dead without Pedja , we had too many stupid plays and calls against us to get the W, Webber looked sore , and if we needed a bench this was it , get well soon Bo Jax and Mo Evans ... but we played hard and atleast we wont have to see the Spurs agian for the rest of the season :(

Pedja would have made difference

Webber (healthy) would have made a difference

Bobby - (boy do we miss him) would have made difference

so... is alexander still on the team or what? according to espn.com he is on the roster. what did i miss? was he just signed or what?

We played hard tonight but our offense looked way out of sync. A lot of throw away passes. Too many plays by Webb where he didn't set up the offense and took a 20 foot jump shot instead. And we missed out on several turnover opportunities because of spastic plays where we lost the ball. The KINGS just never really looked poised the entire game. Unusual.

Spurs are the better team...hands down...irregardless of the Peja no-show.

Just look at execution down the stretch when we could have stayed in the game.

You also got a chance to see for yourself late in the game that Mobley can't shine a candle to Doug on defense.

On Evans and Martin, I wouldn't be too critical...if you OBSERVED closely, the offense NEVER gets them involved...NEVER...Bibby is too busy running the 2-man game with Webber...no change up...no variation...the same thing over and over again.

If RA wants to develop these young players, I learned tonight that it takes even MORE than having them on the floor at critical junctures of the game. he needs to make sure that they are INVOLVED with the offense.

On the flip side, Kevin did a nice job on defense tonight, and that IMHO is the reason he played so many minutes.

Spurs are better than us...live with it...and move on...it no longer matters until a possible playoff matchup. And then both teams will be different in ways we cannot yet imagine. Hopefully, the KINGS will be differently BETTER.
