Spurs are probably going to be more focused in the 2nd half. They will probably put the clamps down on defense. The kings have to be prepared. Also, they are probably going to give Duncan the ball more in the block.

This is even less close than it appears on the scoreboard. The only reason SA is even in it is because of the 3 pointers. They have to be much happier with the effort tonight so far.

Bonzi has become a Spurs killer.

I think the problem is that the arena sound is not being translated to TV very well. Not that altrnative is my type of music.

Even though Mike isn't shooting great, I think he has really been getting open looks for his teammates. Driving and dishing all game. Keep it up!

Brad made that three, but I don't feel he will be able to get his groove going into the second half.

The main reason we are up right now is Bonzi Wells. He carried us this half. I love his effort.

But the Spurs... trust me the world Champs will NOT go away. They couldn't miss from three. Three pointers are the reason that they are in this game.

Bibby 1 for 7 is not going to cut it.

Both players have to play better in the 2nd half because the Spurs will adjust their game plan and clamp down on the Kings players who played well in the first half.

I'm glad someone else saw that, too! We were waiting for the replay, but of course there wasn't one. If the league doesn't do to Duncan what they did to Artest, then we'll know something's horribly wrong with it.

I hate to agree with Chuck, but the fact that the Kings are only up by 5 is very worrysome... The Kings came out and played an almost perfect game (besides some turnovers) on offense... You can't expect Martin and Bonzi to pull that kind of half again... Hopefully, Rick can adress the three point situation, without discouraging the guys from help defense...

I don't know if the Spurs can keep hitting their threes at this pace. It's not like they're the Suns, a team predicated on three point bombing. If the Kings keep packing it in and do a better job of closing out on Horry and Ginobili, they might be able to get some transition opportunities off missed jumpshots. If the Spurs take another 13 three pointers in the 2nd half and win this game, I'll be surprised and impressed.

Even though the Kings are playing at their best and only up by 5......remember that the Spurs are shooting lights out from 3. Just a couple misses and the Kings are up 10+

I agree that Brad is killing us right now and Bibby MUST find his shot, but I do not think that Mike is having a bad game. He is even playing more defense than normal and is directiong (LEADING) the team both with actions and VOICE. Since he is normally NOT vocal with the team, it is a good thing.

Bonzi is playing out of his mind!! I am very impressed with him. We actually have a chance to win this. KEEP IT UP!!!!

I have to disagree

being down 30 is worrysome. Being up 5 is great

we aren't playing perfect. look at mike's and brad's stats

they will say it was an "accident" and ron artest did it on purpose..and cuz ron is ron he is gonna get it. so he's gotta be careful

Bibby had 5 assists, only one less than TP. He has 7 pts toTP's 6 (2/6). And bibby seems to be playing decent D out there. I don't think that's too bad.
