Kings @ Spurs Game Thread (Game 1)

Ok this is crazy, they are 8 - 10 from threes and shooting around 70%. I don't think it's entirely because of our defense they are just on fire. There is no way they will do this every game.

the series isn't over yet. we need to split the 1st 2. i'm just looking forward to the next game cause this is done.

i'm curious how artest and the guys are gonna respond.

I just want us to back and make this respectable. There is no overlooking this half, but we can play MUCH better than we have so far. I am disappointed, but I keep reminding myslef that there are AT LEAST 3 (hopefully more) games left. Just do not listen to any other games between now and Tuesday unless you want to hear us get thrashed by everyone.

You know. That is a team with 3 championships out there, who have 9 players back from last year. The Kings have 10 new players on their roster this year, with Ron only here since January. I'm not going to give up, but I can't say I'm suprised.

I was so excited before this game, i just wished i could have been closer.

Rick should have stuck with the starters late in the 1st, he let this game get out of control. He is really getting out coached. Popovich is exploiting the weakness of the kings, and Rick seems lost. Im am no Adelman hater, i would prefer he come back next year, but he needs to step up as a coach.

There is NO conceivable way you can put this at the feet of Rick Adelman. If anything, you blame Geoff Petrie who built this team. Look at the depth of the Spurs and then look at the bench of the Kings. There is NO comparison. None whatsoever.
