The last few games all have had the exact same feel. You watch the game feeling hopeful yet frustrated at the same time. Just when you think they are going to pull it together and go on a run, they break down and the other team makes a move. Phoenix, Miami, and the New Orleans games all had that feel and this one is the same.
Until you grow and graduate to the next level this is how it goes. But I do think you learn a lot through losing those 30+ road games. The kings deserve to get one, just so they can get the sweet taste in their mouth before going on another losing streak. You don't want this to get too frustrating. With so many key guys age 20-23 you won't execute well enough down the stretch to beat veteran teams like the Spurs.I am happy that it seems very difficult to blow out this kings team. It is a very good sign.I'm curious to see the Kings against championship caliber teams. I don't think that even the Lakers,Boston,Orlando can run over the Kings.

Hawes, and this is my opinion, does not seem to have the fire to make basketball his number one priority. His offseasons suck, and he seems to come back worse than ever every single time. Until he realizes that he's being paid to play (and this implies to improve) he will never become a good center. I had high hopes for him, but those hopes are eroding slowly, but nonetheless, eroding. Players like Justin Williams, who was nothing more than a bench player (far end of the bench at that) came back that summer a couple years ago with his arms twice the size from the previous season. If a bench player feels inspired to be at his best, why can't a talented 7 footer, with seemingly all the skills necessary, improve on his game? I don't think its asking a lot, and we shouldn't even need to ask. It's his job.
