[Game] Kings @ Spurs - 3/5/16 - 5 PT, 8 ET

Man, watching that video made me misty eyed. I miss when basketball wasn't a chore to watch.

I hear you. Watching Ron Artest play "defense" reminded me it is possible for somebody in a Kings uniform.

We need to see that tonight. I hope the Kings can get it done. :)

This is a game we hope to win but expect to lose. So if/when we lose, the king's world does not end, our playoff hopes are not destroyed. The team did not all of a sudden suck and we will not go in a 20 game losing streak. I just see it as a scheduled loss that I hope we keep close and learn from and get a win vs the Pelicans.

This is going to end poorly for us. I don't think anyone is expecting to go into SA (where they are undefeated) and come out with a W. Despite getting a nice W in Dallas. Just hope we can escape without injury.

Aldridge, Duncan and Green all out for Spurs, Ginobli will play. This is a good chance for us to steal one if we want to spark a late push. Who do they put on Cousins? They will probably start West and Diaw or big Boban. Those are their three bigs for the night, Cousins must take adavantage.

It doesn't matter if their entire starting five were out for rest purposes. They still would find a way to win the game, like they always do. No game is a gimme versus them, none.

Not saying its a win, saying this is a good chance to get a win they otherwise would have no chance getting. If you can get 2 of the next 3 (Spurs, Pels, Cavs) then you have some momentum for the softer stretch that awaits. If there is any playoff hope we can only lose 5-7 games from here on out, I am not optimistic at all given what we have seen throughout the season, but there is still always a chance this teams pulls a rabbit out of its behind, the talent is there, its all intangible stuff that has killed this team.

This is an absolute must win. We're getting the second toughest game in the entire NBA (spurs at home) without 3 of their starters. Great opportunity to steal a win here that was originally chalked up to an automatic loss.

After all the ups and downs, this game will tell us a lot about the mindset and drive of the team. If they still want the playoffs, or if they've given up.

Usually the kings play down to the competition. That's why we lose to crap teams or lose to avg teams with people out. I'm hoping since this is the Spurs the kings play up to the competition and won't take them lightly with Duncan Aldridge green out

You can practically bank on it now that Boban Marjanovic will have himself quite a fine game

Lanarcus Aldridge (migraine), Tim Duncan (rest) and Danny Green (rest) all out tonight.

I hope our guys feel disrespected by Pop!

I hope the decision jumps right up and bites him in the butt. Not just resting guys, but resting his big guys with Boogie coming to town. They always team gang him anyway, but I would greatly enjoy pouncing on this opportunity. Too bad we don't have a coach that would immediately send Boogie down inside to eat their souls.

Anybody else notice Grant's snippy response when he was asked if Thibs had an influence on the defense in Dallas?

Nice to know that our newfound commitment to defense hasn't impacted our ability to turn the ball over.

Also, it appears as though we may have neglected to read the scouting report on David West.
