[Game] Kings @ Spurs, 3/31/2021, 5:30 pm PST, 8:30pm EST

The aggressive switch is working. They're also giving up the driving lane and yes, it's working much better. This is closer to how they have to defend from the start of games if they want to make it in.

I’ve been in and out for this game but everything I’ve seen of Metu tonight is making me miss Whiteside.

I'm pretty sure that foul on the three wasn't actually a foul. On the replay it looked like Rudy stuck his leg out to initiate the contact, but I only saw it once so maybe I missed something.
I re ran it three times and Rudy wasn’t fouled , at least I clearly didn’t see it but of course we’re not getting any breaks or calls for that matter

I feel completely the opposite. Metu's speed and agility, even with all his minuses, fits so much better for this team. Once he gets better and the team gets better playing with him.

Kings down 15 w/under 7 left in the 4th against a solid team playing hard ... and a lot of us think they just might have one more run in 'em.

Come what may, that's pretty sweet.

What a difference a couple weeks of winning make!

The gamesmanship on display here by SA is just off the charts. They're playing this officiating crew like a concert violin.

Might not be enough clock but this is the method here. Play up on the switch in quarter 1 and they don't hit 3 after 3 unless they're earning it. Also, the refs at some point have to allow the Kings to do something to negate the strength advantage. If the Kings are throwing any Spur around it's a flop guys. There isn't a single matchup for the Kings where they aren't giving up 15 pounds at least.

I agree. This winning streak feels concrete. Even having to incorporate the new guys into the system, they have been playing well together. Kudos to Luke for this.

I think that means we are potentially getting close to getting rid of Luke Walton for someone who not just there to manage charisma but actually strategize for winning basketball.
