[Game] Kings @ Spurs, 3/31/2021, 5:30 pm PST, 8:30pm EST

All things considered, this will be one of the most telling games of the season: playing a solid San Antonio team led by an all-time coaching GREAT. San Antonio has lost 5 of 6 at home* - and, unlike their even worse recent losses to the Clippers (by 33) and Sixers (by 35), the Spurs surely don't think the Kings are the better team.

A loss wouldn't devastate me. But a win would be reason to ramp up the hype even more.

WOOT!!!

beating the same team in back to back games is tough. Look at the Suns games earlier in the season. Rockets beat the Kings twice in a row and one was without Harden and the other with a checked out Harden.

Winning back to backs is tough but San Antonio did sell at the deadline while we appeared to make tweaks in the right direction (certainly the subtraction of CoJo and Bjelica equally beneficial).

Winning back-to-back is a lot easier once you've won the 1st game.

:)

Nah, I hear you. The Spurs have every reason to come hard.

And Lonnie Walker is listed as probable, which means they get back a key rotation piece.

Love what Fox is doing here. Get downhill, get to the Free throw line, hit all 4 free throws. Don't wait to take over this game.

The Fake Noise in San Antonio is a bit obnoxious. The Fake Crowd is into every play in the first quarter of an average-leverage regular season game against a non-rival as if it's the final minute of Game 7.

One thing Metu gives the Kings is a big that can create up top. Holmes is someone that isn't doing much for you in the high post, Metu can do some damage there.

Well this should be significantly worse than 6 point deficit. 2-8 from 3 for the Kings, 6-12 for the Spurs. Just keep hanging around and actually defend the 3pt line.

The Spurs are sorta directing the ball into the stands after all their made baskets to slow down the Kings offense and the refs are already calling them on it.

They're definitely trying to bully the Kings. This is the first time since going with an all guard team basically they've seen this. It will be an interesting look. Right now the Kings are looking a bit small out there against the beef of the Spurs. This could be the game to try out Harkless and Barnes together.
