[Game] Kings @ Spurs, 2/1/14, 5:30 PST, 8:30 EST

Oh, Aaron, Aaron, Aaron. Have you not read from the good book about the awesomeness that is Tim Duncan? You cannot touch him, you cannot breathe on him, you cannot even share the same air...

What I see is that Rudy didn't drink the Kool-Aid and hasn't been brainwashed - at least as yet - about the value of the Hustlin' Husky. :)
Rudy played with Conley, then Lowry, on top of the USA basketball PG's.

He knows a good PG when he sees it. He surely isn't relying on Grant/Jerry/Bruski to define it for him.

In my best Lloyd Bentsen voice:

"I know Mike Conley. Mike Conley is a friend of mine. And you, Hustlin' Husky, are no Mike Conley."

I swear I say an article where IT said he had to try to keep his shot number down to around 15. He already has 17. I really don't think he is very bright.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Hey, that's not the same canned music the Kings have. Maybe you get to play better music if you actually win a title? You know, they get the trophy and there's a flashdrive inside with a new mixtape?

Yes, Isaiah, you were called for a foul. Complaining to the stanchion isn't going to change it.

Rudy Gay doesn't have the best shot selections, but he makes a lot of them. If Gay started the entire season like this, he would be in the All stars!

Did you watch the game from the beginning?

Of course. Parker has had his moments, but Thomas has been able to keep with him on most possessions. There are times where he breaks loose cause the Spurs set a million screens and they are always moving. It could have been a lot worse.

I'm growing kind of fond of Aaron Gray. He may not do much, but he does snag rebounds. And he sets screens. And he's good for six fouls, even if he doesn't understand why he gets some of them - a question which also plagues me.

Not really. Parker has been setting guys up a lot, the Spurs are just missing wide open 3s. Just because IT takes every shot for himself doesn't mean that other PGs try to do the same thing.

Then I guess I have become nothing better than an IT h8r. I was not impressed with him during the first part of the game in any way, shape or form. He was chasing Parker around with little to no impact whatsoever... Oh well. H8rville here I come.
