Popovich was whining really loudly

So Pop can't wait for the commercial break, so we gotta waste time in the middle of the game without him calling a timeout.

Hey, refs, Pop's old and just really has to hit the head. Hold up a sec. No timeout or nothing, just hold up.

Nah, that's easy enough. Not sure why they skipped several bad opportunities to do it, then did it at another bad opportunity, with a good opportunity coming up.

I'm not sure if you guys are all getting the San Antonio broadcast, Sean Elliott and co were mentioning it every non-possession gap. "Hmm I wonder why it's taking so long to take the point back, huh Sean?" "Yeah I'm sure Secaucus is going to review it and do the right thing."
"They still haven't noticed the score?" "Yeah I bet everyone just working off the rust with the machine..."

I mean, I know that Mark Jones and Kayte Christensen have been strangely polarizing amongst Kings Fans, but why would anybody listen to Bill Land and Sean Eliott on purpose?

DDV is a pesky defender. I don't know if he's necessarily a great defender but he makes plays there

I didn't see a lot of this back when he was with the Bucks but so far for the Kings, he plays a little similar to Thybulle where they like to play trailing defense and find backside wrap-around steals.

To Alvin's credit, he's cycled Fox and Barnes back in while letting Domas get some rest. Not sure why we couldn't have done this at the end of the first quarter but I'm not coaching the team.

The Bucks tend to have their guys play defense straight on their man, which they can do when they have two of the best defenders in the league on their roster. Oddly, Donte's aggressive defense might be a better match for the Kings, who seemingly are only trying to get enough stops to outscore their opponent.

Speaking of Bill Land and Sean Elliott, I love how they spent 10-15 mins before the game discussing the possibility for the Spurs making it into the play-in and the first word Bill Land said of the Kings as he moves along the ranks, "I'm sure the Kings aren't making it, hah" "Yeah, they don't play like a unit at all, so up and down and barely show the capability to play defense..."

I almost want the Kings to win tonight JUST so I can hear how they sound in the 4th.

Lonnie Walker tonight:

Sean Elliott: "Sacramento is going to call a timeout just so they can figure out LONNIE WALKER!"

I'm muting this ish...

The Spurs entire franchise plan appears to be them banking on one of their guys randomly blossoming into a superstar like Kawhi did and it's a bold choice.

I think Mark Jones just called Barnes "the point guard, Mitchell", so I guess the San Antonio announcers must be really bad.
