Kings @ Sonics Game Thread (early edition)

Well UGLY second quarter. RA experimenting with Hobbit ball again and for what ever reason does NOT play Bard and Tag or even Brad and Skinner. Kings forced to take too many jumpers, and not boarding enough.Good news is that Bibby is looking good and an 11 point lead is not insurmountable, but to do it King will need to find a big man combo that can get easy shots for the gaurds and pull down boards.

What are you watching? Who is mike guarding that has been scoring? Our defensive rotations suck all over the place but thats not Mikes fault. He's playing decent D, and keeping Luke and Daniels in check.

Wow, Barkley finally said something somewhat intelligent saying how CWebb didn't get the respect he deserved for how well he played w/ the Kings this year; then of course he quickly had to take another shot at the Kings.

What are You watching ? Just because they did not score much - does not mean that they do not have impact. If You were watching You would observe how Seattle switches in the offense isolating Allen on Bibby several times. He is not holding anyone in check

I hate Cuttino's one on one play. We have all those offensive weapons and he is out there like he's Michael Jordan instead of passing the ball. We actually could have had some momentum swinging our way. The way he played I do not know why he was out there. I don't believe we have the luxury of waiting for him to make a few shots in the fourth quarter, that is not enough to get it done and it's not like his defense was doing anything for us. I heard the announcers call him out on his defense no less than four times.. geez.. But it is not like he is the only one stinking up the court. It was good to see Bibby make some big shots, I hope he comes out and really lights it up the second half. And Peja, HELLO, we need you to step up BIG.

That's Charles for you but IMO he did make a good point. We do miss C-Webb. I wonder how this game would be if he was still here, but unfortunately we'll never know. I haven't given up, we can still win this but why make it harder, oh I forgot it's the Kings.

Magic said without Vlade, Doug, and Webber we are seeing a different offense from the team. It is not as crisp as it used to be. Now the team relies heavily on pick and roll with Peja and Bibby and the Sonics are staying on top of that.

Barkely said Webber did not get enough credit for his time in Sacramento. Then he said once Webber was gone you could no longer say Sacramento and contender again.

Has Mobley done any better on Allen? Seems to me that Ray or anyone else is having a pretty easy time getting to the basket no matter who on the Kings is guarding them.

Stop signaling out Bibby for his defense. There is hardly any D being played by any on the Kings, other than maybe Tag which is mostly b/c of his size.

Bibby's offensive contributions more than outweigh any deficiencies on defense, what do you think RA should do; bench Bibby for awhile so House can get minutes?
