Kings @ Raptors Game Thread

Kings 0-2 since aquiring Artest. He looked way more comfortable out there tonight but our team looks exactly the same as they have all year... struggling to even beat awful teams. Hopefully, that will change.

hmmm... :( that is a tough loss. I like that Artest stepped up in the 4th quarter though.. I think once he is in basketball shape he will be a big asset when the game is on the line. If he doesn't get sick of losing and demand a trade first.:(

Well...nobody better call any other team a "bad" team we should beat. The Kings are a bad team.:( There's no team we "should" beat.

good point:( even though he DID lose for quite a bit in Chicago, but I know he thought he was coming to a team that just needed some new blood in order to win some games...maybe...maybe not.

Un...believable... Words can't even describe how just... Just...

We lost to... New York, Toronto, Orlando, and Boston on this road trip... Those are arguably the four WORST teams in the NBA... O my how the Kings have fallen...

i dont know why adelman wouldnt put in skinner for the last defensive play. I dont get it he could at least had a chance of blocking it, but oh well, its all and done, what a wasted road trip

Very true... the Kings are an awful team right now.

Hmm... I had it in my mind that they lost. Well that makes me feel a little better...

We should trade Artest. The guy hates to lose, therefor he must hate this team. He'll probably explode because of all the losing, we're not even gonna make the playoffs.

someone probably needs to jump this team..

Yeah, I think we have to face the fact that the POs are extremely unlikely for this team.

Before everybody jumps off a cliff or starts suggesting we throw certain players off the cliff, please allow me a moment.

I saw potential.

Granted, I hate that i am talking about potential halfway through the season, but it is what it is.

I am going to believe that our seaon starts fresh on Tuesday. This was the last game of the roadtrip from Hell for us. We have 3 overtimes, a major trade/non-trade/trade again, SAR is still hurt (brave but too unwell to play IMHO) Bonzi will be back soon and Bibby played virtually with no back up.

Get the point. We are going to be better- SOON. Do I think we are going to make the PO's? uhmmm. . . Don't know. BUT I DO SEE PROMISE FOR GREAT IMPROVEMENT. I hadn't really felt that in a while. So I am hopeful again.

OK, NOW BACK TO ALL THE "WE NEED TO GET RID OF _______" AND "__________'S DEFENSE STINKS"

I'm sorry. But Brad Miller is softer than the Pillsbury doughboy down low, and his rotation is absolutely AWFUL... Edit, how apporopiate the chelle's post is above mine... lol...

Same problem that we have had since the end of the year last year. No leadership, we can't seem to get motivated as a team night in and night out. In the NBA if you give that kind of half-assed effort you are going to lose a lot of games. Not surprised though.

look at bibby's field goal attempt.. 32!
this team is changing..
tonight we only have 16 assists
we really need someone who can defend as our center

i was thinking, why does it matter if we make the playoffs, i mean i know its good for the teams confidence (sort of) but we will more than likely get swept because we will be 8th at best and we have to play the number 1 team, unless we start on a major terror and we start winning most of our games, i want to save myself the heartbreak

We need a lot of things.

Are the Kings the worst team in the NBA? I mean, even Portland can beat us.
Before this game, there were only 5 teams with a worse W-L record in the whole league. That's bad enough.

Artest 24pts, 9rebs, 3 asts, 1 steal.... Ball handling still shakey, which is to be expected but he stepped up in a big way for us offensively in the 4th.

20 TO's... Thomas 6, Miller 4

I was pretty impressed that we made a game of it after 3 1/2 ugly qtrs... We had a chance to win so I am not to upset about the loss...I am more upset about the 20 TO's, this is not going to get the job done.
