Holy crap im glad i recorded this one. LIGHT THE BEAM!!!58-44 on the board for the Kings. Very nice.
Insert Holmes as the backup center if he’s not dealt….random thought
God how heartbreaking would that have been? Looking forward to reading all the different forums tonight lolBesides all of the great positives from the Kings perspective, I’m really happy to see FVV miss a wide open three with a chance to tie it.
Do you think he translates from Spanish to Lithuanian in his head, or from Spanish to English?Domas is fluent in Spanish?!?
That's a bit of an exaggeration. Metu runs and spaces the floor, fine offensive rebounder and lob threat.Shoulda been done long ago. W/respect to Metu and the fine job he's done, he does nothing better than Good Richaun except make 3's at a low clip.
Our energy level was low from the get go. After a whole bunch of no-calls, we were looking like we'd accept the fate that dealt to us until Coach Brown took it upon himself. We took an adrenaline boost from that and rally back ahead. The Raptors were miserably outrebounded by Domas the whole game and couldn't really find any rhythm besides FVV and some Scottie Barnes one-on-one.Wow not sure how we pulled that off! Team finally woke up when Brown get ejected (absurd 5pt play there for the Raptors), and played with a lot more energy and fire on both sides of the ball. These are the type of games that we would have laid over so easily in prior years. Really impressed with their composure and says something about dealing with adversity
Slab…. It’s nice to see you happy with the team after all of these years. Legit happy.Heckuva win! I really might want to start believing in this team just a little more.
Do what you’re supposed to against Detroit and this trip is a raging success.

They are just good at different things, I wouldn't say "he does nothing better than Richaun".
Agree. Richuan may not be as long as Metu but it’s not like Metu is a defensive specialist. Prefer Richuan for defense. And Metu stays open from 3 since let’s face it 24% is not scaring anyoneShoulda been done long ago. It's situational, at best. I actually thought the Raps would've been a game where Metu can perform some in their lanky lineup. Turns out it was Richaun's beef that took hold.Richaun also runs the floor and is a lob threat. Holmes is a better rebounder and much better shotblocker. Both are mobile. Metu is a 30% career 3-pt shooter, 24% this year. I.e., not much of a "spacer." If I'm the opponent a Metu 3 is what I want.
